The shirt is very thin, therefore I thought I may be cold and need a jacket in cold weather, but it amazingly held my body heat in perfectly without making me hot. As someone that tends to run hot, it ’s the perfect thickness for a bit of warmth but not something you have to take off once you get a little active. I ’ m a 5 ’ 10 205lb fella and this fits me perfectly in a large. However if you ’ re looking to add something under I would suggest sizing up a wee bit. My XL is perfect for the addition of a wool thermal and not filling out to max marshmallow man levels.

I 've tried several sun shirts of different brands and majority feel clammy and make me feel hot in the sun. Not this shirt! The material is thin, breathable and very soft on your skin. I actually prefer the quarter zip version over the MH hoody due to the bottom hem design( hoody has a draw string at the bottom which I do n't care for). This shirt also has better neck protection for me since I always wear a wide brim hat when I hike and I would n't use the hood. And I really appreciate having quarter zip to allow more air through. I 'd love to have more solid color options.

High quality material that hasn ’ t pilled after a year of use and washing. It ’s long enough for my 6 ’ 5 ” frame. I have the half zip and full zip, and they are worn regularly. I wear them to work and in the outdoors. Great for hiking. They ’ re lightweight enough to wear when you ’ re sweating, but warm enough for when it cools down.
