[ The Nike Swift Women's Repel Packable Running Jacket comes out of the package sleek and ready to go. The sleeves are roomy enough to slide on without fighting a watch band and fall just past my wrists. A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

I prefer light colors for visibility in stormy conditions, so I got the white/tan one. The internal drawstring at the waist is flattering. The hood WILL NOT blow down in wind. This thing is awesome! I was debating between this and the heavier version by Sea to Summit, but I 'm glad I got this version as it is incredibly tiny when in it's sack and lightweight. Definitely worth the extra cost! It takes the place of a backpack cover, rain jacket, tarp, and( potentially) rain pants in your pack, while being smaller and lighter than any of those items by themselves! The stuff sack is small( which can be a positive when considering the amount of room you save in your pack) however I was, with some effort, able to get it back in effectively after removing it for use. I am excited to continue to put this thing to the test here in the PNW where rains are, at times, incessant. I do find myself wondering if further enhancement of design could enable better protection from rain for the arms, however I understand that this is a tarp/ poncho combo, so it would be a challenge that would likely drive up price a bit as well and would add material in random places when being used as a tarp. Thanks for the awesome product Sea to Summit!

I returned it at the store and after trying them on I got a Large in Stone. It is still comfortable with a sweatshirt underneath and the slightly fitted look creates a better silhouette. [ It was raining today so I took my new poncho out for a test hike. It kept me and my backpack completely dry. The coverage over the backpack is excellent. The poncho snaps together at the sides to help control it in a breeze or wind. Because of the snaps, you don ’ t have actual sleeves. This is a good thing. The poncho allowed for good airflow so I did not feel hot or stuffy. Definitely excited about having this on my backpacking adventures. It ’s super lightweight and dries quickly. I 'm an avid hiker in Colorado. I never go on a hike without this jacket. It's lightweight and super easy to pack. It keeps me completely dry on the trail and works great as a windbreaker as well. Very easy to layer on colder days. I started with just black, and have purchased two more colors since my first one 5 years ago. I 'm 5' 11 '' and 195 lbs, and the medium works well for me.

I ’ ve had two of these now over the last 5- 6 years. I do a lot of saltwater fishing on the Northern California coast and this involves actively wading up to my waste in saltwater sometimes. This jacket combined with my waders keeps me dry very well. The first one I had the zipper failed on it after about 4 seasons of heavy use in saltwater so I can ’ t fault the product for that since just about anything will fail in saltwater. I bought a new one and am back out there staying dry and warm. These are really light too, I can see them as a budget backpacking rain shell option as well. I use mine for backpacking also but by ultralight backpacker standards this is not an ultralight jacket. That said it will keep you dry and it is a great wind breaker too. Can ’ t beat the value.

There are countless details that set this rain jacket apart from other brands. First, it's remarkably comfortable. The inside liner makes the jacket/skin contact feel like a normal jacket as opposed to the discomfort plastic feel of other brands. The jacket is quiet, and hardly has any sound typically associated with rain jackets. The hood works wonderfully, fits well around my head, and does n't block my vision when looking left and right. The sleeve design around the wrist even allows for you to check your watch with ease, but effortlessly slides back over based on the well positioned elastic. The sleeves do n't ride up while casting a fly rod either. I waited to write a review until I 'd spent some time on the water fishing with it as well. The jacket performed equally as well in a 5 hour down pour while I waded a NC trout stream as it does walking around town. I had no restrictions fly casting, and landing fish. I remained dry after fishing for 5 hours in a constant downpour, and it breathed well the entire time. I enjoy all of my Free Fly products, but this jacket is my favorite product yet. If you have any need for a quality rain jacket with extreme comfort, range of motion, and legit rain resistance then this is a must purchase.

I can not overstate that, as there was not an errant thread, fabric blemish, or ill- bonded seam whatsoever. A word of caution to those who might overthink the sizing- it is definitely true to size, so plan accordingly if you intend to layer underneath. 50 degree downpours or light rain are what it excels at. Much colder, and you ’ ll be dry and cold, as when properly fitted and NOT up- sized, you won ’ t have enough room to comfortably layer. Mine fits exceptionally well with no binding or hiking up during practically any activity. It fits best with a T, a polo, or a normal poly/cotton collared shirt. I am absolutely in LOVE with the color and warmth of this jacket! Just finished a Utah 10K wearing it, the weather started at 35 degrees with partial Sun and wind, and ended at 41 degrees. I wore this jacket with just a t shirt underneath, and stayed at the perfect temp the entire run!!! Omg I need more of these babies! I loved that I could fold up the hood, and all of the pockets. My last favorite detail is the hidden red buttons, as they are so cute and such a small but fun pop of color that can be hidden:)

I REALLY like this jacket. The material is so light for a rain jacket/wind breaker. I wouldn ’ t recommend it in heavy rain, but lighter rain yes. But it packs down so small it ’s easy to stick in your vest or just wear with the backpack straps on it so it ’s there if any wind or storms pop up.

This rain jacket is super impressive. When it comes to traveling, camping, hiking, or even exploring new cities, countries, etc. You ca n't beat the portability of this jacket. It is super thin and light making it easy to roll up and store into any type of bag weather it's a backpack, purse, or even large fanny pack. Even for being so light and thin, it easily stops water from getting through. I 've had zero issues with any type of moisture getting inside either due to prolonged periods of water exposure or leaks through any seals and stitching. I will say, because it's so thin, in colder weather, you would need a warmer layer underneath to act as insulation. That being said, you might need to get one size up than normal so it can fit over any layers you need. Also, if you are traveling through any thick brush or scraping up against rocks, you need to be careful about scraping or snagging any sharp/rough surfaces too hard to prevent any micro/macro tears in the material. Being so thin, it's not super durable, but it's not very easily torn either. Overall fantastic product and highly recommend

I love this coat. I bought this recently when temps were regularly in the low 20s to low 30s and with a base layer and mid layer, it was perfect. Love the pockets for storage but also ones at the waist for your hands. Nice to have the drawstring at the waist and hood for cinching. The only slight downside is the Velcro on the head to pull back the hood from drooping over your eyes is placed a little too high; I have the very bottom edge of the Velcro used to keep the fur just at the top of my eyesight, so I have a feeling at some point I may be amending this with my own attachable Velcro. Quality materials and well worth the price. So glad this works in cold temps( that I ’ m used to experiencing!) but also something I can wear in the more typically mild- ish winters I ’ m used to, which are upper 30s to mid 40s.

I 've had this jacket for a few weeks now, and I 'm pleased with the performance. It's light and compact enough for my needs, and the stretch makes it comfortable to wear even with a pack over it, and when I 'm moving fast. I have the Black version and will use it for hiking in the Pacific Northwest, but also as an emergency shell while travelling for business.

I bought this in the early summer bc I was in desperate need of a new rain jacket( my old one was literally crumbling apart!). This past weekend I assisted in the rescue 7 people who were capsized in a pontoon boat. I dove into the water with phone and all in the pocket of this jacket. After the scary event ended I took my phone out of my pocket and was shocked to still see the phone screen activated! The phone still needed about 7 hours to completely dry out and let me charge it but it ’s completely fine now. Obviously this jacket isn ’ t meant to be submerged but the saving the phone of it all felt worth mentioning. This jacket is also WARM and I don ’ t feel like raindrops are still making me cold through the jacket. It ’s also a superb wind breaker. I wore it on a 5k ft hike and the wind at the top was bearable in this jacket. It ’s expensive but it WORKS.

Great rain jacket when I 'm out and about or taking my dog outside in the rain. The colors look great in person and the material works as intended and feels very nice. It runs a bit large. I typically am size large and ordered large and there's lots of room. For this type of jacket I do n't mind though, as there's enough room for me to layer underneath it when it's chilly and looks fine with just a t- shirt underneath too.
