The bibs are so comfortable, move well with me, and fit I 'd say nearly all shapes- as you do n't have to have the waistband size just right. No snow or cold at my waist band, or cutting into my gut when knees come up. The price point is reasonable and good value. Function and fashion.( I now have two colors and alternate with jackets.) Leg zips to open when hiking or warm; lined and space for underlayers on brutal cold days. The long side- zip allows keeping the shoulders on while I use the toilet. In the front pocket, I can store the phone and anything else needed; it has a zip close and an internal mesh sleeve. The cuffs have a cinch so I do n't trash the pant hem, dragging on the ground. I am 66 '' tall, abut a size 6 and wear the size small- it could certainly fit a taller person too, with plenty of space in the elastic shoulder straps( and cuffs).

I really like the fit and contour of these bibs. I was looking for a burly 3L pant that is roomy enough for proper cold weather layering.( I ski at Whitefish, MT. often, so.....). These check that box nicely without being too baggy. For reference, I 'm 6'- 3 '', 210 lbs., 35 '' waist, 34 '' inseam in most pants. Purchased size Large. Lengthwise, these ride just right with my ski boots on.( Even though the size chart says 32. 9 inseam). The 3 layer `` AdvancedSkin Dry+ '' fabric is bomber, weatherproof and resembles 3L Gore Tex. The upper bib section is very stretchy with a 16 '' zipper fly. Nice quality 1. 5 '' wide suspenders contribute to comfort also. All in all, a sturdy, well- built ski bib with clean lines.>>>> Jeff

They are soft but not bulky. I ended up returning them due to the length. Other than that they were perfect.

I like the fit of these pants! Quality of them is superb. I do n't struggle to get in and out of the pockets. I actually put a beanie and a binding bag in a couple and it did n't bother me at all. I got a size medium and I have a curvier bottom half. The waist fit great! 10/10 would recommend.

I was very wary to buy these seeing the poor reviews, but by using the Obermeyer Size chart from their site, my measurements to size fit perfectly... and I have THICK thighs! I ordered both 10 and 12 just in case, but the 10 fit best. They are warm, insulated, the zippers are high quality and they have a very handy velcro cinch at the back to tighten just right. I am 5 ’ 5 ”- 155lbs and loose measurements are Waist 29 ”& Hip 41 ”. Because my thighs were my highest concern, and are for many ladies, they are each 24. 5 ” around. Size 10 fit comfortably. See pics! Only drawback is I wanted to match my new Obermeyer Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue. The color is close but not a true match, see last photo.

I tried on a pair of different 686 pants at the store and thought they were too baggy for me, and I ordered these hoping they were n't going to be as baggy as the other style I tried on in store, and when these arrived they fit perfect. I did n't want to write a review until I tried them on they mountain, but after putting them to the test I could n't be happier. The fit was perfect, the amount of insulation is perfect, I just wore a thin lather of thermal underwear under these pants and I never get too hot or too cold all day long. I would recommend these to anyone.
