I haven ’ t been able to utilize yet in the winter but the elastic waist is much stronger than LL Bean ’s supplex shorts since they went to China for production, and at lesser cost.. [ I love the quality of the All Day Short 2. 0, but I couldn ’ t find a good size. I found the 32 was too big in the waist and the 31 was too tight in the hips( pockets were stretched while standing straight up). I ’ m 5, 7 ” and weight 155 lbs. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

[ I own several pairs of these shorts, both the 1. 0 and 2. 0 versions. Love the fit and style and zippered back pocket. Can wear them to the beach or to dinner. Versatile, comfortable, and classy. Can ’ t recommend highly enough. Price is a bit more than I usually pay for a pair of shorts, but the quality and longevity of the pairs that I have make them worth the investment.
