We experienced some unusually cold weather right after I received the shirt and it really came in handy while I was watching football in my basement “ man cave@, where it ’s always cooler than the rest of the. Very well made flannel. It feels like thick vintage flannel from your Dad. Thinker than North Face Arroyo flannels. Reading other reviews, the size recommendations are all over the place… stick true to size. I am 6 ’ 0 ”, 170 lb with long armed canoeing/running build and bought a large in this( and wear a large across North Face and other brands of flannels). This Valley Twill fits very similar to the North Face Arroyo flannel… except this Valley Twill is about 1 ” shorter in the body. Compared to other flannels that I own this is slightly shorter in body… but everything else accurate. The Pike ’s Purple flannel color looks great and was half- off on Dick ’s website. Great value for thick flannel. Recommended.

I absolutely love these shirts. My biggest complaint is they seem to be out of stock, and I ’ m afraid Dick ’s is discontinuing them! I admit I ’ m super picky when it comes to clothes. I have some sensory difficulties and chronic pain/neuropathy things so I want soft, comfortable shirts without bulky seams that breathe well without weird tightness anywhere. I don ’ t like polyester. I especially look for shirts with fun patterns and colors. These completely fit the bill. They arrived quickly and have, so far, held up well. I wore them on a recent trip and was impressed with the lack of sweat accumulation. I love the cotton/modal/spandex blend; it ’s very soft and has just enough stretch to be extra comfortable. I love the patterns I was able to find. I ’ m hopeful that Dick ’s does restock them!

I recently found out about Nike's premium essentials line and absolutely love it! It is heavyweight cotton so it feels tough but comfortable. Feels like it will last 3x as long as a regular t- shirt.
