As a heads up the tall size does have longer arm length on the sleeves so the extra elbow room may not sit directly on the elbow. But overall as 6' 5 '' I 'm glad I went with the tall. I love the materials. The jacket itself has a really interesting touch to it. It almost feels rain resistant, obviously not rain- proof. Overall a great lightweight jacket.

My jacket also came with a random thread embedded into the chest area, with a piece of tape behind it. Seemed like something missed from the factory, but I removed it with some tweezers. I love that it's made of 75% recycled material and is also waterproof. Cool! My favorites about this coat are in the details though!! The sleeves have elastic so you can pull them up your arms and they stay. The zipper pulls all have a little extender on them for convenient use and there is an elastic hook to hang the coat by. Probably my favorite detail is the design of the hood pulls. You can pull your hood tight and lock it into place with a stopper. But even more awesome, the stopper is on a loop with a little blocking washer so your strings wo n't get lost in the holes of the hood during wear or washing. Amazing design!!! The only thing I would mention here is that I am a woman and this is a mens coat so the design is very straight; no room for hips at all- so I would suggest getting a womens style coat if you are at all curvy. For me I just tuck it under. Also for a men's small to fit me perfect makes me think it may run a bit small( as I think most Nike items do). Overall, highly recommend.

The stylish look combined with the light weight stretchy feel makes this jacket stand alone in my collection that I 'll resort to for many occasions and not just for a cloudy rainy day. It's also not like any other typical rain coats, this one does n't make you feel like you 're wearing a plastic bag and make you all sweaty. Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

I often prefer men's styles due to the straight cut without the flared out hips that most women's shirts/sweaters tend to have. I wear this hoodie as my jacket when temps are on the warmer side and as a mid layer under a jacket when temps are on the colder side. I will say it's very warm though. I can usually get away with wearing it in the low 50s to high 60's as my outer layer. I 'm a 5' 5 '', 110 lb female with a straight/slim build and I wear the XS. The sleeves are a tad long for me but I 'm used to it since I wear mostly men's clothing. I usually just cuff them back a little. I 'm also a big fan of the G1000 reinforcements from the elbow to the wrist. It's a nice look and gives the sweater extra durability. The leather logo/ending to the drawstrings is a nice touch too.

[ Employee of columbia] I bought the XXL for my 5 ’ 8 235 pound husband and it ’s pretty roomy. The sleeves are just right on him( sometimes those XXL coats have super long arms). The color “ Amber ” is more of a nice Autumnal rust color than orange. It looks really nice with the black accents. The chest pocket is super roomy and easy to access. All in all, a great coat and he can ’ t wait for it to by chilly enough to wear it.

Sure is warm. First test initially I was skeptical and put on the jacket thinking it ’s roomy and easy to wear. It took about 3 minutes to begin to feel the warm sinking in to me. I bought it for a one layer solution to sub- fifty degree weather in a humid city. We haven ’ t gotten cold enough for a full day wear yet but I like it so far.

Fit: I am 5'11 and 190 pounds, wear XL for shirts and sweaters, but L for these types of jackets and the L fit me well in this one. Warmth: I have used it in up to- 10C and it has kept me warm at that temp with only a t- shirt below. Might be too warm for anything above 0C- 5C for me. If it can keep me warm up to- 20C with a thin layer underneath it will have good range. Style: looks very good. Amber is a bit darker than I expected, which is welcomed in my case. Does not look orange at all. Weight/design: it is very lightweight, and does not look puffy. Would have appreciated one or two pockets on the inside. Easy to move around in, so will be good for winter activities. Overall, highly recommend this if you are looking for a jacket to put between the times you need a full winter parka and your spring jacket, this will hold a good place in that spot as it does seem to be quite versatile temp wise. I get a feeling it will also reduce my use of the full winter parka by a bit.
