I tried it on in the store and instantly bought it right then and there. I ’ m 5 ’ 6, 186lbs, athletic built. Man. I bought it in a large and it fit good! A little above the waist, perfect length for the sleeves. Inside has a hidden zip up pocket, the lining inside is perfectly warm and the same material is include in the pockets to keep your hands warm. It has enough room for you to pair it with a hooded sweater for when it rains. An xl was too baggy.

With the mens' the wrist part of the jacket fits snug and my husband has large wrists and hands. So he has to take the jacket off by pulling it jacket first then wrists. Bought this for cycling in the light rain. Nice fit and weight. I 'm 6' 3 '' and 200 lbs. and a large is a nice slim fit. Packs down small and is easy to stow. Not 100% waterproof, but kept me mostly dry on a 3 hour downpour bike ride. If you 're on the husky side, you might size up to an XL.
