The Vanish Woven shorts by UA are my go- to shorts for tennis, although I wear them very often casually as well. The six- inch inseam is a blessing as the longer shorts get stuck on my sweaty legs and, frankly, longer shorts look goofy on someone my age. I have been wearing UA shorts throughout the 2000's, but the Vanish Woven are the most comfortable by far. I can stick a ball in the pocket when serving or rallying, and they do n't feel different. They dry quickly on most days, and do n't droop with sweat on the most humid days. They also wash very well. I 'm glad to add a printed version to my collection. My oldest Vanish Woven is just a few months old. These are made very well( like my previous UA shorts-- some still in action for lawn work, etc.), so I have no doubts they will have great longevity.

I love the pockets with zippers, which make this product similar to much more expensive branded shorts. I have not washed them yet; let's see how they last this summer. I bought a pair of these when they first came out a couple of years ago and always saved them for my `` dress '' shorts. I always looked forward to wearing them as they are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I finally decided to replace my lined Breeze shorts with the active breeze shorts because they are just so much more comfortable than the Breeze short. The extra comfort comes from the difference in the waste band. The old Breeze short had a typical stretch liner but the new active breeze short has more of smooth band where you do n't feel the waist band against the skin, you dont actually know you are wearing them.

I just got these and the fit and features are as advertised. Really like the zippered pockets and extra details. However, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no: Elastic waistband and internal drawcord gives a secure fit. It does have a french fly( a hook and button closure) which keeps the waist smooth. I 'll probably purchase another color in the future.
