These hold up to moderate abrasion better than drapey polyester shorts. They ’ re perfect for rock climbing. The wide leg opening and stretch makes them great for lifting or running too. I love the pockets with zippers, which make this product similar to much more expensive branded shorts. I have not washed them yet; let's see how they last this summer. These are my new favorite running shorts. The length is just right. They are made a a material with a little stretch and allow free movement. Their front pockets are as roomy as they could be in a pair of running shorts. There is a zipped pocket on the right side big enough for car keys and a few run gels, gummies or waffle. Nice simple shorts. Very versatile and the zipper pockets, which I feel are a must at this price point make for secure storage. Material seems similar in feel to the tech fleece line but for a cheaper price. The material is also cooler than tech fleece. I find these can be worn in temperatures above 80 degrees.
