I have been looking for a good puffer jacket for my upcoming trip to Paris. I 've tried on several different brands and styles of jackets, and none of them came anywhere near close, compared to the Canyonlands Hybrid. The slim fit is absolutely perfect and very flattering, and I really like the features like zippered side pockets and the deep- well interior pockets that will hold my larger items, making it perfect for travel. Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's `` short '' I 'm 5' 9 '' with a longer torso and short legs( 30- 32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. It's definitely a jacket for car camping, walks around town, etc. This IS N'T a summit series jacket and is defiantly not built as a belay jacket which I think some get confused. For me, after hitting the slopes and a bit sweaty, I pull this out of my pack, fluff it up( it folds into its own pocket and packs very small) and put it on going in and out of the lodge before the sweat get cold and drops my body temp.
