I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.

They were a little bit pricey and I actually found them lying about mixed in with some different Nike shorts they have a dark metallic very subtle camo to them that really only shows in the right light and very low key. When I tried to find another section where they were to see if there were other options I could not. So in my mind these shorts were one of a kind and clearly have been purchased by a lot of people since I could not find any others like the pair. They have a back pocket for your wallet and two deep pockets to hold your phone, keys etc. They have thick nice durable material to them but also lightweight so I get why the price was what it was. [ I really impressed with the shorts when i pulled the shorts out of the bag. At first glance, they didn ’ t look like what i typically wear to work out in. They were styled more like a daily use pair of shorts. The fabric had a nice weight to it and felt great. Usually anything i get with dri- fit is on the thinner side. The shorts fit great, not overly loose, and the legs were wide enough without looking baggy. I really like that they ’ re made for working out, but the design doesn ’ t yell out “ i just got done working out! ” I will probably use these for outdoor walks/hikes, versus in the gym. The heavier weight will help block the wind and if they do get a little wet, they should dry out quickly. I do wish the pockets had zippers or snaps to help keep things from falling out. My phone, wallet, and, car key all fit without the pockets feeling over filled. Nothing fell out of the pockets getting in and out of my car, but I will always keep thinking about that when I have them on. These shorts are great for a workout, with a quick stop either before or after.
