This jacket is more than I could have hoped for. I operate a snowplow at a ski resort at night during storms clearing parking lots. When I get out of the tractor into what is frequently a howling blizzard, this keeps me warm, sealed and protected. It's loose enough that I can wear layers underneath if it's really cold and the whole thing is lined with nylon so there is no binding at all. The hood and zipper come up to just the right place on my chin to be functional without hindering. And when it's wet snow or rain, it runs right off and I stay dry. Amazingly comfortable. It ’s very lightweight and easy to pack and carry and would be really easy to stash away in a tote bag or tie around my waist if needed. I usually wear a women ’s medium in tops, so the men ’s medium is a little big, but I prefer an oversized look for my jackets anyways. The body has a nice loose look but the sleeves are a little long on me, but again, I don ’ t mind it. I like the material which feels like the kind used in parachute pants, but it ’s not swishy and loud. What really stands out to me are little details like the chest pocket which has a stylish little buckle strap as well as a black embroidered Nike logo. These features are functional but also add a cool unique touch. I also love that the side pockets have zippers- I know this is a common feature in men ’s clothing but, believe it or not, not something I see a lot in women ’s clothing!! As a klutz who sometimes drops things, even from my pockets, this extra level of security is really helpful.
