It's a good substitute to a purse or backpack. The front pocket on the strap is big enough to fit a chapstick or keys, while the inside pouch is big enough for wallet and phone. The ambidextrous shoulder strap is a nice feature that allows me to share this with family and friends. An exterior pouch for a water bottle would be about the only upgrade I ’ d recommend, but it was easy enough to clip a bottle to the loop built into the pack without any carrying problems. Highly recommend this pack. Light, sturdy and well made. Can ’ t go wrong with the Osprey lifetime product guarantee either!

I 'm a guy and this is exactly what I wanted to get my wallet and keys out of my pockets. I still carry my phone in my pocket because I access it regularly, but it does fit nicely in the bag if I need it to( iPhone 16 Pro). Otherwise I use the larger zippered section to hold my glasses/sunglasses. Love the AirPods zip pouch, too. Highly recommended!

I used this on my trip to Singapore, and three cities in Japan. It was indispensable. I put my ID, my passport, my little wallet, Lipstick and a Chapstick, a small packet of easy to reach pain, pills, and a few cough drops in the main pouch. I then put all my foreign currency and coins, as well as my hotel room key in the front pouch. I always fell in charge and secure, with everything so quickly accessible, and yet tucked away and next to me on my chest. When I was flying, it would sit at the very top of the inside of my backpack under my seat, so that I could quickly access it when I needed to go to the bathroom. I can not even fathom this trip without this handy little essential pouch. I highly recommend this to anyone for domestic or foreign travel as it will give you total peace of mind. Besides, it was a perfect soft fabric, yet durable, and in an attractive color that matched everything, in terms of my luggage, as well as my outfits. I could not have made a better purchase for so little money. It is an absolute must have for me going forward.

Bought this to take to a conference so I do n't have to lug my backpack around. Key to avoiding the return was whether my 11 '' iPad Pro would fit. It does, just well enough not to be a nuisance to unpack. Key unlock for me was the water bottle holder that zips out. This will be really nice for events like this and probably baseball games so I can keep score.

I bought this for my kids for travel( 9yo& 11yo boys), so they could carry a water bottle, sunglasses, deck of cards, etc. I may borrow it from them on occasion, since it ’s more functional than my Osprey Daylite sling. Love that it fits a 24oz Stanley Aerolight comfortably, while still being able to accommodate all the essentials. I tested it out with 24oz insulated bottle, medium wallet, keys, sunglasses in hard case, sunscreen, 1st aid kit, brush, hand sanitizer, chapstick, AirPods, packable grocery bag& phone. It also fits a 1. 5liter hydration pack for hiking, although I didn ’ t test it filled, but seemed to still have good capacity. If you need to loosen the strap, the mesh pocket( which fits an iPhone 11Pro in silicon case) shifts pretty high on your shoulder, so becomes more awkward to access while wearing. The strap can switch to either side, so my lefty kids can switch to their preferred side. My only recommendations, the key leash could be a little longer& the “ secure ” inside pocket is hard to get my medium sized wallet in/out. A zipper that went end to end would be easier with maybe a clip& loop to secure it. I like the external clip that secures both the water bottle from falling out and the front zippered pocket from theft. We ’ ll be road testing this in a few weeks at Yellowstone hiking.
