The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. Definitely a jacket for specific shoulder season weather: colder, semi- dry days. It's a warm jacket that sadly does n't have pit zips to let heat out when the hiking/climbing gets going. I had to fully unzip the front and leave it open. Would n't use it as a rain jacket. Could be used as a light snow jacket. I 've been using it as a springtime( and fall) belay jacket and it works great. If you get caught in a drizzle the repellancy works shedding water and wind. Love the soft, stretch fabric that does n't restrict moment and allows me to wear just a t- shirt underneath if need be. Big pockets all with good zippers and it packs into its own pocket. The hand cuffs are interesting and remind me of cycling jackets that are longer on top to keep water off the back your hands. It has stretch band cuff on the underside along wrist. So far i have n't had issue with them, but i worry the elastic will one day no longer be tight and the cuff could be baggy and useless. Maybe they should have stuck with classic Velcro straps to adjust cuff tightness-- only time will tell. Overall i like the jacket as my backup for when i do n't expect bad weather but need something just in case. A great jacket for walking around town too.

This one has slightly heavier fabric, and seemingly, a tighter weave, so it does n't breathe as well. I purchased this used a few years ago and it has become a staple for hiking, camping, travel, and festivals. After the first year I cut the drawstring and tied it in a knot, much better and more practical. The light blue color stains easy. Sometimes this shirt stinks to high heaven after short use, other times I can wear it for days without stank. Washes easy and dries quickly. UPF continues to work after many years of regular use and washing, it provides protection from the sun and mild wind. It's so soft against bare skin and comfortable to sleep in. I use as a base layer, except when I use to layer over tank top when it's hot, or wool hoodie when it's cold. The pocket and zipper is great. No complaints.

[ I have been climbing for 30 years in total and in various iterations of this harness for a long time now. It ticks all of the boxes in terms of function, fit, and durability, and especially price. One of the things that I like most about it are the gear loops. A lot of brands put their loops too low on the harness in my opinion, which causes gear to hang down around your lower leg. I prefer things to sit higher so that everything is tighter to my body when I move. The harness trad climbs and sport climbs equally well. The only downside to it is the weight being a little on the heavy side. I prefer a 32 inch waist in pants and wear a size medium in this harness, which puts me at the bottom end of the fit and allows me to cinch the waist within a cm of all the way down. This puts the gear loops more towards the front. When you look at the size range for a harness, always make sure to consider that the measurement will be smaller than your waist size because you wear it above your hips.

First impression is that it ’s very light, very warm for its weight, and breaths very well. If weight is important to you, this is a must get. It ’s essentially the jacket insulation without the jacket, so if you want wind protection just add a wind breaker. For some reason I was expecting it to have some stretch to it, but it doesn ’ t really, which is fine once you know to expect it. The outer material doesn ’ t feel soft, but the inner brushed material does. Overall a fan of the material, curious if they could add some stretch though, or maybe that would compromise the fiber insulating structure? Other request would be to do a version with no large branding, I don ’ t mind large branding on a jacket, but having it on a shirt or a base layer is less desirable. Would recommend.

I absolutely love my air- mesh hoody! It's unmatched in it's lightness/warmth ratio, and astoundingly comfy. A unbeatable midlayer when every gram matters. I think I ’ ll might put mine on right now, actually.

The greatest base layer of all time, perfect for skiing, climbing, riding bikes. I ’ ve never had something that runs so cool on its own, but is surprisingly warm when paired with a minimal lightweight windbreaker. 🐐

[ Amazing. It's incredibly comfortable and it just makes sense. No bullsh* t zippers, hood and neck are super comfortable yet would fit fine under a helmet. I use it primarily for casual/ relaxed and that is how I would describe the fit. But it actually works fine for running or climbing as well. 160 lbs 5' 9 '' athletic build and the medium is one of the best fitting pieces of clothing I own. FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING I bought 3 so far lol. Warmth to weight ratio unparalleled. A little warmer than tnf futurefleece lt, which is almost as great but I prefer the more relaxed fit hood of the airmesh

[ I bought this as a mid layer, and occasional outer for moderate temps. Found myself wearing this all the time, as a mid layer with temps in the 20s, as an outer with temps around 50. Hard to see in pictures but the inner lining is super soft almost fleece, so provides similar warmth as a wool sweater( thinner of course), and the design of the outer material allows for breathability. Sizing fits perfectly. I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ”, 195 with 43 ” chest. Typically wear a large and this was no different. Not snug or baggy, perfect. Some hoodies the collar chokes your neck, not this one. And did you see they have thumb holes!!

[ This is a great lightweight set for both beginners and experienced climbers. I bought a set 5 years ago as I was just getting into climbing and loved it so much I bought another to replace my old set this year. Note: I am a petite female and feel comfortable taking whips on these quickdraws but some of my heavier climbing partners have n't felt the same. But my old set never failed in 5 years and I am only replacing due to age.
