I bought a pair of these pants four years ago love them so much bought another pair two years ago they 've become my favourites and I overwear them. They still look like new except for a small pick on the thigh of my newer pair but I 'm the only one who knows it's there. Most comfortable pants ever for working and bending they stretch in all the right places. My husband and I even wear them skiing with an under layer. Fabulous secure pockets for multitool, phone and wallet. Never put them in the dryer and you will get many happy years with them. They are expensive but worth the money. I have received more compliments on these pants than all my other clothes combined. I bought the green and cabin red.

My daughter got me a pair of these pants for Christmas last year. When I tried them on I instantly fell in love with how they felt. They were a little big in the waste and slightly long. However, what I really love about these pants are the ankle straps and the ability to cinch them around your boots. Perfect hunting pant in my opinion with leg/thigh vents and large pockets fir phone and e- collar remote, or anything you carry. They are super comfortable, water resistant on the legs, and they dry quickly everywhere. I love them so much that I 'm ordering my 3rd pair( my second pair I ordered a size smaller sz. 4, and they fit perfectly) and a pair for my son in law and husband for Christmas. Excellent addition to my daily use and outdoor recreation clothing gear. The jacket packs down quickly to about the size of a 500 mL water bottle. The Ghost Whisper UL has become a key piece of layering gear for mountaineering, hikes, and just around town. Super light, comfortable, warm, and stylish. Checks all the boxes. These pants were perfect for a cold day with 40mph winds and 15 degree windchill hiking at 12, 000 feet in the alpine in January. They were totally windproof and I was actually warm when we were ascending, but perfect temperature when descending. They fit fairly narrow, so if you are planning on layering underneath I would recommend sizing up. The velcro at the hips helps customize sizing and I really love the higher rise on the waist. These are my go to pants for non- skiing winter adventures.

I work as a climbing guide in Colorado, so my work takes me to a variety of locations and climates. My initial guess as to what the Keele would be like was similar to other grid fleeces: lightweight and flexible. The latter is more true than the former. This layer was surprisingly heavy- and I think that's fantastic. It presents a different layering option than other mid- layers that tend to strive to be light. The inner fabric is extremely soft, so it feels great next to skin. I was caught in a mild drizzle and the outer fabric did a great job beading water and not letting me get soaked. I 'm 5'10 '' 165 and it felt just a hair big on me. If it was colder( ice climbing or mountaineering) I would appreciate the room to layer. As the only mid- layer I was wearing it was just a slight bit big, but I did n't find that problematic at all.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. I was excited for this hoody to arrive as it checked a lot of those boxes for me. The large fits ideally for me at 6' 2 '', 215lbs and long arms. I have a bit of an issue in the past with MHW sizing as it seemed I was right in between a L and XL but this jacket fits wonderfully. The waterproofing is functional if you are stuck in some light rain, as the water will bead right off. The brushed grid interior gives the hoody that cozy feel which means you 'll never want to take it off. It is a lot denser of a hoody than I was expecting but that's a positive in my books. I really think this hoody is for anyone who wants a full zip mid layer jacket but it will find itself at home the most in the backpacks of you Spring rock climbers!

I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the Keele grid hoody as large, my usual size, and I found it fit true to size. The Keele hoody has performed exceptionally while climbing, traveling, and hiking. The recycled polyester double weave fabric is my favorite feature of the Keele. Its brushed back grid interior is soft and wicks moisture well while the DWR coating on the exterior provides durability and water resistance. Even when soaked through, the Keele kept me warm climbing in less- than- ideal conditions. The three- piece hood functions incredibly well and I found it fit over or under a climbing helmet. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Keele and recommend it as a base or mid layer for nearly any outdoor endeavor.

You can never have too many midlayers! This statement is always true, and that is one of the many reasons the Keele Grid hoody is something you should get. I 'm 5' 9 '' 165lbs. and the medium fits comfortably. It does n't have a really technical fit like an r1; it's a more relaxed fit. This jacket is the r1 that you can wear everyday, but with pockets and way more wind resistance. I 've been grabbing this every morning when I leave the house on all these cool Spring mornings. Simply the best jacket. Super light weight, I never have to worry about sacrificing weight for comfort. I just throw it in my bag now and do n't even think about it. It washes quite well too, as I run it through the ringer at work and camping. The down has not had a problem after about 45 washes with wool balls on regular temps. It's not water proof, but for light rains I have not had to throw on a rain jacket and have not felt that it was damp after.

I 've been using this for a couple months now and really like it! I 've found it cuts ~75- 80% of felt wind and even as a softshell shrugs occasional rain pretty well. Mine wet out after about 25 minutes in light/medium rain and when soaked was n't transferring much water to my baselayer. Perfect when you really should 've brought a Helium Rain but you did n't. While not quite breathable enough for me when running unless its real cold( I 'm a warm person) it's great for everything less aerobic than that for me. The cuffs are elastic on the inside of your wrist which works well with a watch. The single hood cinch works well to keep your hood on while minimizing adjustments. Pocket linings double as vents, are big enough for a smartphone or light gloves, and are not sewn down at the top allowing you to stash your map or mail in a pinch. The Hood stow works well when you plan to use it, but I did find myself just tucking the hood inside if I was in a rush and could n't be bothered to roll it up. The hem cinch is located on the right side and is easy to adjust one handed and has low profile hardware which is fine under a backpack belt. I 'm 5'11/ 210#/ 43 '' chest and wear a Men's Large size tshirt and find the size large fits me perfectly with a trim fit. Key for me with fit is that in my other OR jackets like the Foray and Superstrand I 've needed to size up to XL to have the hem fit over my butt. Not so with the Ferrosi- the stretchiness of the fabric and cut works perfectly for me. I normally wear an echo or vigor top underneath mine and layer any insulation over. If I wanted to put insulation under the Ferrosi I would need to size up once. The jacket is lighter, and more flattering than my other windshell from another company. Combined with the comfiness of the stretch I 've found myself grabbing it when just going out running errands and it's almost always at the top of my pack heading out into the woods now.

Absolutely killer jacket. Bought it to use for teaching a backpacking class in the late fall in high mountains of Idaho where it can get pretty cold pretty quick. Used it in- 10f weather with a baselayer underneath and shell on top and stayed toasty the whole time. Provides an honestly impressive amount of wind resistance even on the seams. [ Where have you been all my life ghost whisperer? I ’ ve worn it down to well below freezing and it ’s still kept my warm. It ’s super light and comfortable too. Very impressed.
