This jacket is exactly what I needed for Colorado's winter. Keeps me very warm without any layering though with layering warmth will obviously be increased. I would totally recommend if you are into snow sports or like being toasty during winter. Being able to pack this jacket up is another plus for me so it's always convenient to either leave in the drawer when stowed or have it hung up on the coat rack. The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

[ These pants are so versatile you can use it for everyday use. I love the rain and stain repellant feature because water just slides through it. It is also light enough that when washed i do n't need to put it in the dryer, i just hang it to air dry. I bought a pair last year and a 2nd pair just recently in a different color. the only i wish theses pants have are elastic waistband. The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. But i still love it! and i love the belt hoops that becomes additional hooks to whatever you may want to keep in your person that is easily accessible.

WHERE ARE THE NEW COLORS?!?! These are the most absolutely amazing pants on the market and I 'm getting nervous that there are no new fun colors this season. It's true that this fabric does pill little bit but hear me out- they 're still totally worth it! I work exclusively outside for my fulltime job, hiking 5 miles per day on average and I genuinely wear these pants 4 days a week at minimum. I 've had the same pairs of Ferrosi's for over 5 years and though pilled, they 've lasted perfectly and show no other signs of wear. They are crazy lightweight and breathable but also water resistant. They keep me cool in 100+ degree weather and also do great over a baselayer in the winter. They are stretchy enough but also hold their shape. OR, you better warn us if these ever get discontinued so I can buy 10 more pairs.

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes.
