Finally got to use this in a steady rain with little wind recently. Kept me dry and yet, also cooler than if I had a normal rain jacket. Helped with the humidity and did not steam me up inside the jacket. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased Columbia jackets for both my son and daughter, and I could n't be happier with the quality and performance! The jackets are not only stylish but also exceptionally functional. Overall, Columbia has once again proven why they 're a trusted brand for outdoor wear. I highly recommend these jackets to any parent looking for reliable, stylish, and durable outerwear for their children!

Jessica
[ This is a great jacket for those rainy spring days. My child runs hot, so the light weight nature of the jacket is very compatible with her. The lining also helps wick away moisture from the skin. I love the hood because it ’s large enough and is adjustable. The fit of the jacket enables some layering, if the child can handle having a micro down under this... I just like buying Columbia for my child because it ’s good enough quality considering it will be outgrown in 1 season.

Exact kind of jacket I was looking for- lightweight, packs down small and very breathable. I run quite hot when hiking, or just generally on the move, so this has worked perfectly for me.

This is my favorite jacket! I is lite, sheds small amounts of rain and I breaths very well. I live in NE where we have plenty of wind so it comes in very handy. It takes off the chill in the early morning when I walk the dog and I can wear it with an insulating piece in the late fall and early Spring. People complain about the zipper but if you are patient you will find the zipper works just find, just make sure it clicks!

This is my go- to lightweight waterproof shell. Basically like a feather in my backpack, there is no reason not to bring it. Alpine climbing, mountain biking, hustle footing. I live in the PNW and rain is almost guaranteed on every outing- got ta have this.

Tested out the new UL Premonition during my training in Salt Lake City and my recent Makalu expedition. Two of the best features of the jacket are its weight and packability—it is incredibly light and easy to pack into my backpack, especially when carrying a lot of gear and equipment up to higher camps. The jacket shielded me from rain, snow, and high winds at higher altitudes. It ’s highly mobile and easy to wear. Particularly love the internal long zippered pocket—perfect for storing important devices like iPhone or Garmin inReach.

I got this jacket a month ago and since I ’ ve used it during heavy rain in the city and during winter mountain climbs. I can say I ’ ve had no issues with the waterproofing. In the winter mountain, this jacket became irreplaceable for me. Being so light and breathable is such a game changer- I sweat much less, less need to stop for water and I feel much less exhausted. It ’s packing small, so it ’s super easy to fit it in the external pockets of a backpack, so you don ’ t waste any unnecessary time- game changer when you are in the winter mountain. The pockets are awesome and the jacket is super comfortable. I was worried about the Velcro on the cuffs, since a lot of jackets will loosen and let air in between the cuff and your gloves, but the Velcro works super well and gives you a solid locked- in feeling. Last but not least, it beats off strong winds like it ’s nothing. This feature helps you dress lighter, move faster, and get tired less. This jacket improved my performance per unit of effort in the mountain, which is essential since most mistakes happen out of exhaustion. Really happy about my purchase!

The single best jacket I 've ever owned. The fabric is simply a slam dunk and the technical design is on point. Enough room for movement and the sleeves are long enough to use it on a bike aswell. I would like to see a jacket with the cut and features of the Skogso Jacket in the Eco- Shell fabric. I would then have a jacket to wear all year, anywhere.

[ I took this coat on hikes, sledding with kids in snowstorms, and rainy walks with the dog. The jacket seems to absorb a little water but I 've always been dry underneath. A great alternative to gore- tex without the environmental implications. My only qualm is the lack of side- pockets which I knew about before but is still a nuisance. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

This is the best shell jacket I have ever owned! On a recent trip to Paris, I wore it for 7 straight days, and experienced high winds and rain every day. The jacket kept me warm, it is thoroughly water resistant and I felt ´dry ’ inside, with my Keb hoodie. Furthermore the jacket is ´quiet ’ and I like the pocket location and ventilation options. Would buy again in a heartbeat. It ’s an investment!

This is such a nice and versatile piece to have in my closet. I 've worn it for both outdoorsy outfits and also street fits as it looks so good with both! Pair with jeans is chef's kiss especially as you can adjust the waist and crop it a bit. Great quality materials and love all the tailoring.

Halfdays really delivered with the amount of pockets in this jacket! It's comfortable and surprisingly light weight while still being warm enough for spring hiking. The fabric seems very durable and( fingers crossed) has n't stained. It does run big, but I liked the look so I stuck with my normal size. As long as you do n't have a broad back, you could definitely size down.

Have never received so many compliments while hiking! I wore this paired with the Bastille Trail pant recently on a hike, and was stopped numerous times asking where my jacket was. So lightweight( but still provided warmth), and great ventilation! Also so many pockets to house snacks/cameras/sunglasses. Could not recommend more!

There's a reason you see so many really favorable reviews of this jacket. It checks all the boxes. Packable, super light, blocks the wind, repels mist or light rain and looks great. Pull it out of your kit at a windy summit or the top of a pitch. If you are slim and athletic, it fits true to your usual size. I have a paunchy `` dad bod '', so I had to go up one size for midriff room. You wo n't have to, though. I also have the lined hoody version of this garment, and like it equally for belaying or just spectating at the base of the crag.

I have been using multiple Kor products for a while and added this one to my closet recently. It has many uses but what I use it for is early morning hikes and rides. It adds just enough warmth over a base layer to reduce the bite of morning chill. The fabric is crazy stretchy and soft, and while I have n't been rough on this one, my insulated Kor Strata is a ski layer I have hammered all season with no issue. This thing is crazy packable too so it makes it easy to shove into a pocket or my lumbar pack.
