I do n't do well in the heat and this is my favorite top. It feels like you 're wearing nothing, it's so light and airy. The fit is good and flattering. I like that the collar and arm holes are tight enough for good coverage. It does n't restrict my movement when I 'm rock climbing. I bought a light color and you can slightly see my bra though the fabric, which I personally do n't mind.

I wear it as a mid layer while skiing. It was perfect when temps were zero to one degree F in the morning and up to low 30s in the afternoon. These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

Unlike most shirts that hit on my upper hip/waist, this one falls at mid- hip, making it flattering and letting me raise my arms without showing skin. A great short sleeve. Machine wash& dry completely fine. The elasticity of the fabric is smooth to the skin. Protects your core and shoulder areas from UVs. The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. The waist has a room yet it's not too wide( I 'm 6' 2 190lbs athletic build). The only caveat is the color option. Definitely need more colors including White to make the line up more versatile in both short and the long sleeve in Crater Lake.

I am a staunch supporter of Columbia Sportswear for the Tamiami and Super Tamiami Long Sleeve Shirts. I love how light they are. They are so light- I no longer wear cotton T Shirts in summer. Not only T Shirts but Polo Shirts too. This long sleeve shirt is lighter and offers amazing sun protection. It's a short sleeve shirt( roll uo loops) It's a functional fishing shirt- quick drying- lots of pockets. It's a great summer shirt because its sooo light and quick drying. It can go from a hike/ walk to market. It's an excellent traveling shirt- wrinkle resistant and quick drying. I have actually gone swimming and thrown the shirt on without towel drying and the shirt dries amazingly fast. And to those who think this shirt is too expensive- This shirt is like kevlar- indestructible. I have nearly 20 shirts( I had a weight loss and had to drop a size)- and not one has made it to the rag pile. The only casualty was a spark from the s'mores fire melted a hole. They still look great. I ca n't remember my first, but it's at least 8 years. Worth every penny.

Love this shirt. Ordered two colors, the forest green and the navy/orange and both look great. They are warmer than standard button ups, they wash well/ wrinkle free. Only had for a season but they seem to be holding up well and be crafted pretty sturdily. I will probably order another color this fall as they have quickly become my favorite flannel/button up type shirt. It does run slightly loose- Im 5'10 175lbs and the M fits perfectly relaxed- not tight at all( i usually like slimmer fit but this is classic) but not too baggy to where it looks big. So far Fjallraven has not disappointed( 2 shirts& 2 jackets) so I will likely buy more.
