I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

But the biggest selling point for me with this jacket is its' versatility. I am easily kept warm in New York winter with the full coat, but on days when it's milder, I love that I can easily just take off the blue outer shell and only use the inner piece-- which is also a great stand alone jacket. It fits true to size and looks like how it does on the website. I 'm 5' 3 '' and 135 lbs and bought a Medium and it fits great. Not oversized or too tight anywhere. But it is form fitting. So if you like a baggier look and feel, I 'd go up a size. One of the best parts of this jacket is how well it holds up in gusty conditions. Even without layering heavily, I could feel noticeably less wind- chill than with my old softshell. Very happy with that. The hand pockets are secure, the sleeve pocket is handy for small stuff, and mesh pocket bags help with breathability. Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

I ’ ve worn it.. a lot…in many weather situations and it still looks brand new! Regarding others reports that it is “ stiff ” …this is only relative to other, less robust fabrics. Example, I have the Kaitum jacket also, which is considerably lighter and more flexible but also isn ’ t quite as warm and wind impermeable. I found the sizing to be pretty true to size. I scored mine on an end of season sale and literally couldn ’ t be happier. Would ’ ve been worth every penny at full price! I wear this in winter with a long sleeve shirt and in fringe seasons and it rocks em all. I ’ d buy with confidence!
