I prefer light colors for visibility in stormy conditions, so I got the white/tan one. The internal drawstring at the waist is flattering. The hood WILL NOT blow down in wind. I really like this jacket. Being petite, I love the adjustable Velcro and elastic on the wrist cuffs. The cut is slim but not tight. I tend to size up for comfort. I usually wear a size 8- 10 in shirts and a large is perfect. I can cinch the waist if desired. The material has a slight stretch which I find very comfortable. Zippered pockets ensure goods stay safe. The interior is lined in a sleek material resulting in a very well constructed jacket overall. The only negative is subjective- the collar stands straight up whether zippered or not. If that bothers you, this might not be the jacket for you. It will likely touch your neck or chin constantly. On a windy day, however, I think this neckline will keep the wind out. The waterproof exterior also adds to keeping rain out.

I am so happy I got this coat for the torrential rains that are happening in California right now. I usually wear a medium... sized up to a large and I am glad I did. I love my Rayu Rain Parka. It's softer than a lot of rain coat type products out there and fits great. The coat has a front zipper and velcro fasteners so there is no way rain is going to slip in under the coat.

The only thing about this order that kinda made me concerned a bit was that the jacket was delivered with only a think plastic bag and no clear plastic covering the jacket like I usually get things delivered. My only complaint is the bright red sticker on the wrist, it totally detracts from the clean look of the jacket but there is no way to remove it. Great jacket. Bought it to replace a similar Columbia OutDry that lost the hood tie. Love the style of this one except the ridiculous Columbia logo on the center of the back. There are logos on the chest and sleeve. Why put it in the center of the back? Looks ridiculous. Returned.

In the past, I ’ ve had the option of my rain jacket ruining my outfit, or opting for no rain jacket, but having the rain ruin my outfit…. NOW neither are a problem, as this jacket actually makes my outfits even cuter!! Fits comfortably true to size, but size up if you want it to be longer. For reference, I am 5 ’ 3, and the medium fits cutely oversized, and even the large works. The XS definitely fits, but was a little short for my liking.

I needed a lightweight rain jacket that was also easy to carry when not wearing. This jacket is perfect though it does run a tad big. Normally a large fits me sometimes even a medium but this jacket in a large is a bit oversized. Still very satisfied with its lightweight feel and packability.

I live in New England, and I 'm traveling to `` old '' England later this year. Between our record rainfall back home and variable conditions across the pond, I needed a good raincoat. Cue* hours* of research, which landed me here. So far I 've worn this coat out in several storms for 10- 20min at a time( walking the dog) and after a quick shake off in the mudroom, it's completely dry. And so am I! Plus it's quiet, blocks wind, and the material has a nice matte finish. The colors are lovely, classy green shades that go with everything. Got a medium and there's room to layer a fairly bulky coat or sweatshirt underneath but it's not huge if I 'm just in a t- shirt. I 'm 5' 6 '', athletic 150lbs, 37- 27- 38. I 'm literally excited to camp and hike in the rain this summer now that I 'll have this coat to protect me. Now I just want OR to make a matching one for the dog.
