These pants are heavier than most of my running sweats. They are textured on the outside which makes them look dressier than standard sweats and they are very comfortable both when running and when relaxing afterwards. They are gathered at the ends of the legs using a wide stretch of material, not just a single band inside a seam which is a nice touch. The thickness of the material makes them nice on cool/cold days without their being overly hot while running. They are also not too tight or too baggy, they have a very comfortable fit. On the down side, I usually machine wash my work out gear and let them air dry( instead of using the dryer for them). Because of the texture, these pants take about twice as long to dry as my other lined sweats. Not a big deal, but thought I would mention it.

I bought them a size large than usual to make sure the legs fit well that they are a little loose in the waste, but i expected that to be the case. I wear these pants all of the time and never would have 6 months ago. The biggest plus is that they actually hands 2 front pockets and 1 back pocket so i can carry my wallet, keys and phone! I really have no complaint about these pants.

The fabric is soft and thick, making them perfect for days on the colder side. The tapered leg keeps me from tripping over myself while on the court while the drawstring( interior) waistband makes tightening and loosening the pants a breeze. The two features I like most are the numerous pockets( front slit pockets, hidden zipper pocket in right slit pocket, and back zipper pocket) and the front bungee loop. Anyone who has ever sat down and had the contents of their pants pocket slide out can appreciate the security of a zipper pocket! The bungee loop is multifunctional; I ’ ve used it to hang my work badge when I wear the pants to work, I ’ ve also used it to attach my keys and hang the pants to dry.

[ I found these pants to be amazing while I was out skateboarding. They somehow managed to always feel cool, even when the rest of me was hot, and at no point did I feel a damp spot from sweat. I worried at first that they were going to be restrictive while skating, but they had a good amount of stretch to them, and the pants stayed firmly on my hips, even with all the leg movement. Fashion wise again I was quite surprised. The little fake zipper flap area around the crotch was enough to make it look like I was n't just wearing sweats out of the house. I am surprised that a little thing like that could make such a difference. Design wise I would no change anything. They drawstring is well hidden inside, the material both looks and feels comfortable and stylish without looking tacky. The taper down the leg led to a snug fit around my ankles, which allowed me to showcase my shoes while wearing and skateboarding in them, which is highly important to me since I take great pride in my show collection and do n't like when they become hidden by pants.

The pants run a little long( since they are n't sized by inches) but you can easily roll them up or hem them permanently. My favorite thing about these pants are that they are stylistically more appropriately fitting to wear out in public while being this comfortable. They are n't something you could wear as general professional attire though. I strongly recommend these pants and would encourage you to get them if you 're looking for every day relaxed fit pants.

This UA fleece has a slightly more finished exterior so they look more formal( if that is possible for swear pants). I wear 34x30 pants and these fit perfectly. I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the large Basin pull on pants, using Mountain Hardware ’s sizing guide, and I found them to fit true to size. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Basin Pull- On Pant while climbing and hiking in the sun and the rain. The DWR finish repels water and worked well during light rain while climbing. I also found the fabric to be surprisingly rugged while remaining breathable. My favorite feature is the rear zip pocket. I never want to risk losing my phone while climbing and the zip pocket always keeps my phone secure when I am moving on the rock. While the elastic waist with the adjustable internal draw cord took some getting used to, I have found it to be comfortable while having great range of motion and mobility. The Basin Pull- On Pants are a great all- around pant for climbing, backpacking, or spending time outdoors in a variety of conditions.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. These pants are great! The sizing, though was tough. I 've previously owned the MHW Cedarberg Pull On Pant in a Large. Those pants I could barely pull over my butt. They fit the waist already but had very little stretch to pull on. This time around, I got an XL in the Basin Pull On and they are a bit too big. They do n't fall off but without the drawstring tied they are quite loose. I have a 35 '' waist and a 33 '' inseam. I wonder how a Large would fit... I enjoy this pants for climbing in as they provide a ton of movement. They fit nicely under the harness with the elastic waistband but the drawstring is a bit annoying with a harness. I am typically not a fan of `` drop in '' pockets because larger/heavier things tend to `` drop out '' but there is a zippered rear pocket which provides security for not loosing things. The straight leg design is great for movement and makes these comfy but they are tad bit too wide for my liking. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable climbing pant would be happy with these but they have less utility in the multipitch world due to the lack of thigh pockets.

I 'm a indoor climbing coach and instructor and an avid outdoor climber as well in the New England area when im climbing outside I need my pants to leave me with the ability to move and those pants knock that out of the park. These pants are fantastic. They are extremely durable and resilient against rocks and dust. On top of that the DWR finish the does an awesome job of being water resistant on rainy days and very flexible on normal dry crag days. The security pocket is a fantastic addition to all the features that the pants have to offer because when you need to take your ID with you on climbs ypu know it will be safely zipped away and not as easy to lose in the end. These pants can handle any scenario for any type of person. Great addition to my climbing gear!

As a climber, I need my pants to stretch, not bunch up under a harness and be comfortable. The Basin Pull- On Pants tick all those boxes. I love not having to try and fit a belt on with my harness, I love the weight, stretchiness, and durability of the pants, and I love that I can wear these around my house as glorified sweat pants. These pants are almost perfect. My only critique of these wonderous pantaloons is that they do n't have a zipper. If I 'm going to be wearing a pair of pants under a harness all day, as I often do, then I want an easier way to `` relieve myself '' than awkwardly wiggling my waistband from under my harness.
