They look and feel much higher quality in person. I spent 5 hours researching bibs and ultimately went with these for the relaxed fit, features, price, color, and moderate amount of insulation. I like the narrower shoulders and the thigh vents were a savior on warmer days. I like the variety of zipper, button, and Velcro pockets too. I was worried about the regular being too long because I ’ m 5 ’ 0 ” but they were perfect in ski boots! Too long for hiking unfortunately. 10/10 recommend.

These bibs are amazing. You may think you would lose style/fit/quality with bibs, but you will be very pleasantly surprised and eager to hit the slopes and apres activities in your new bibs. After being pleased with my MH shell, I decided to try these bibs and so glad I did. So far they 've been worn skiing and snowmobiling in various conditions, from 28 degrees and snowing 2 '' an hour, pouring rain, and cold dry single digit weather. The waterproofing is superior, and blocks the wind well enough. The fabric is comfortable and does n't feel constricting. I 'm 5' 2 '', about 130 lbs, with pretty beefy legs and butt. The medium short is definitely roomy, which is what I wanted to allow for layering and freedom of movement. I LOVE that there are options for length. This should be standard in the industry! The leg pockets fit a phone perfectly and have stayed waterproof. The chest pockets are more for sunglasses, chapstick etc, and not a phone, but you should n't have your phone right next to your beacon anyways. The zipper works well enough for peeing. It's a pretty easy process. Overall, this bib is just a great no- nonsense product that does exactly what you need it to do: Keep you dry and comfortable.

Finding pants in any outdoor brand is a challenge because sizing is still skewed towards more petite women. I am 5' 6, 140 lb, hourglass shaped with a 32D bust, 27 '' waist and 39 '' hips and athletically built thighs. I ordered a medium tall and the 34 '' inseam is actually perfect and just hits the floor without shoes on. Pros: Built- in cinch belt around waist- this is a genius add! High front pocket allows to sit comfortably over the chest while keeping the girls secured and the straps flat over the traps Overall really comfortable pant Cons: Drop seat zipper is only on* one* side. It does not have the dual zippers I was expecting. This feature was why I ultimately went with Mountain Hardwear and I think an added zipper would make this pant 5 stars. These pants were perfect for a cold day with 40mph winds and 15 degree windchill hiking at 12, 000 feet in the alpine in January. They were totally windproof and I was actually warm when we were ascending, but perfect temperature when descending. They fit fairly narrow, so if you are planning on layering underneath I would recommend sizing up. The velcro at the hips helps customize sizing and I really love the higher rise on the waist. These are my go to pants for non- skiing winter adventures.

[ I love these pants. Warm. Waterproof and super comfy. Wish they had more than 2 pockets though. Normally an XL but the XXL gives me a little wiggle room. They do have the Velcro at the waist to tighten them which is great to get a perfect fit.

[ Traveled to Alaska in January and brought these pants along. They kept me warm and dry in- 30 F temps and did very well in several feet of snow while snow shoeing and sledding. I at first bought a size small and they fit me like a glove, then returned for a medium so that I could wear them on top of my bottom layers for the day. The medium fit well with jeans and thermals under. The bottom of the pants have an elastic to go around your boot to keep snow from getting in your pants and boots and that seemed to hold up well despite me trucking along in several feet of snow.

[ I have always loved Columbia as a brand for sports and work. This pair of Ski pants are just amazing. I love it has some velcro inside the waist level to adjust the fit you just want. I bought a size small because the medium was quite big. In cm, I am between 65- 70cm in waist and hips 100- 105cm. Fitted great, a bit tight at the beginning but with use got loose. You can expand the lower leg to fit your ski boots and your moon boots or chunky boots. This is just great. I use it with the Ava Jacket and amazing. Thank you!!!

[ I was looking for a set for snowmobiling, and these pants definitely did the job. I love that they are adjustable at the waist so when I was on the sled, I did n't have to worry about them moving around. I only wore leggings underneath and was plenty warm on single digit Fahrenheit days going 30 mph+. My only small issue was that they were a little short, but my legs are super long so I would 've needed a 34 '' inseam for them to go all the way down to the ground. It was n't an issue with my taller snow boots I had on anyways.

Incredibly durable, great fabric, very stretchy and flexible. Super comfortable to wear. Very warm, but breathable, able to wear with just long underwear in anywhere from 5- 32 degree F. In my opinion, simply the best of the best.

[ I ’ ve had a really difficult time finding technical ski wear to fit. I am 5 ’ 3 ”, 105 lbs. the XS fits perfectly with a bit of room for xtra layering. I ended up trading the thermo pant for the non insulated( it has a thin inner lining which is perfect) but both are really a great fit and best quality( aka waterproof)

I needed something more than a shell to stay warm riding lifts and skiing on stormy days. These pants fit the bill! I love the roomy pockets. The zippers are smooth, which is n't always the case with ski clothing.
