These are just great. The waist size is ruler accurate- no funny business there. They look sharp. They ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re not baggy. Lots of snaps and pockets. I bought several pairs and wear them almost everyday. They ’ re holding up very well. I really like how they fit and look. They are a bit “ cool ” as in they don ’ t retain a great deal of heat, but that ’s a pro in the spring/summer/fall.

I was questioning whether the full zip would allow water pentation, but it did not in my case of mostly standing. The full zip was great for getting them on and off easily without removing footwear. I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.
