OK, so I 'm a pickleball fanatic... a cross- over after 65 years of playing tennis. I know what it takes to deliver power, spin, and touch from the backcourt, and from the net. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

I love the tennis- handle shape of the grip; however, the padding on the grip is very thin and can get uncomfortable. I previously used the Diadem Warrior V1& V2 paddles. It was a great paddle but since I 've been using my Luxx Control Air- Invikta, it far exceeded my expectations. I 'm so happy I purchased this paddle... I was n't sure I wanted to make the investment because these paddles are pretty pricy but this paddle really enhanced my game. My serve has improved tremendously especially when it comes to power and spin. I 've also been told that my topspin on my serves are so much harder to pick up-- especially when put a lot of pace on it. I 've also been told that when I use a slice backhand( I typically use a two hand topspin backhand), my opponents have a harder time clearing that shot. However, I notice that when I try to put away a high dink, there's this paddle does n't give much of a pop like other paddles I 've had in the past. For my game, though, I need more control than power so this really works for me. I notice that I can do better third- shots and topspin drives with this paddle. This paddle is also great at dinking. I come from an aggressive tennis background so this paddle really improved my game. If you 're on the fence about investing in this paddle, I recommend it if you come from a tennis background and need more control than power in your game.

I 've had this paddle for about 3 weeks now and highly recommend it. I changed from the Simone Jardim 14 mm to 16 mm and am happy with that decision as the paddle seems to have a bit more control and `` give, '' but at the same time has great power. The weight might be a little too much for some players( 8oz.) and I thought that might be the case for me as I am a petite player( 5' 3 ''- 127 lbs) but it is going to be ok I think.( More weight training!). Definitely has the power I want, has the longer handle for 2 handed backhand, seems to absorb the ball a bit better to prevent pops, has great touch for dinking and resets, and provides the right touch for me for lobs. I go through a lot of paddles and this one is the best I know of right now. Hope this review helps you make a good decision.

I usually play at Paddletek Tempest Pro but the transition to this paddle was so easy. Spin, power without effort, and nice balance even though it is a lightweight paddle. I prefer that for quick reaction time at the net since I 'm getting older rather than faster.

It took about 5 times playing with it to dial in my ground strokes to have comparable power to my double black diamond, but net play is! 000% more fun with the CFS 14. As an Advanced Intermediate Women in early 60s I love the longer handle for a two handed backhand, and the elongated head for a larger sweet spot. As it ’s the lightest weight it feels less like a club and more like an extension of my arm. I was looking to upgrade my paddle and asked the wife if she wanted something different. She described length and control; this paddle fits those criteria to a tee. She picked up a little more pace on her ball and manages the kitchen better with less pop ups. I have to work a little harder than before and have threatened to send it back( just kidding). I ’ ve been looking for the right paddle for a long time and this is it. I have been switching between playing with 16mm paddles- Apes Pulse V, Joola Hyperion C2 CFS, Honolulu J3k Pro, Gearbox Pro, Thrive Azul, and 11six24. Bought my daughter a Paddletek ALW for Christmas and I like this one better. This 14mm has been a game changer! Control has improved, more than enough power, and very good pop. Handle width is awesome- no need for overwrap, and have had no need for lead. If I had a complaint the spin is mid- tier. Feels similar to the ALW when playing minus some spin but with a better grip. And the edge guard is shiny, but that might be personal preference.
