I hesitantly opened the package, and was thrilled to find this cap in the dark maroon/wine color( ordered dark plum) I wanted! The cap is made well with cooling, wicking fabric vs basic cotton. The old cap would start leaking and inevitably stop serving a purpose. But not this one! I have worn it on a couple hikes too!
