I actually wanted to try rough crinkly shorts, kind of retro in my opinion. I got the highlighter yellow. The pockets are fairly deep but no zippers. The quality seems decent, though VRST is better( and more expensive). Have not washed yet, but seems like it 'll last. It kind of feels like swim trunks but is n't, Would be good for hiking or yardwork rather than going to a fancy gym. Their front pockets are as roomy as they could be in a pair of running shorts. There is a zipped pocket on the right side big enough for car keys and a few run gels, gummies or waffle. Nike for me is a lifestyle. I wear almost exclusively Nike and have done so for many many years. I am 49 now and have no plans to stop wearing Nike because I love there products and styles. The one gripe I have with their golf shorts is the pockets are not deep enough. I do carry the remote for my electric cart along with an extra balll and markers. When I do ride a cart I have had things fall out of my pocket. I definitely learned my lesson about checking pockets when exiting the carts. Hopefully somebody at Nike reads this and can give us deeper pockets! Keeps me cool and dry and looks good.
