For being so lightweight this jacket is incredibly warm! Keeps me the perfect level of toasty on sub 30s New England runs. Runs a bit small so I suggest sizing up. For reference I ’ m 6 ’ 0 tall, size 6/medium and ultimately went with a large.

My husband purchased this for me as a gift. I absolutely love it and wear it often! I did end up sizing up which allows me to layer it and it fits comfortably over a hoodie/sweatshirt. I absolutely would recommend this!

I bought this jacket for everyday wear and walking and running. It is cute and comfortable. Great addition to my workout wardrobe. I recommend trying on in store because the sizing can be inconsistent from one to the next.

I like this jacket because I don ’ t like jackets! It ’s very warm because of the Omni heat and 650 down fill. It ’s not bulky( Omni heat keeps the bulk down). The quilting keeps the down fill from shifting. I have good range of motion without feeling like I ’ m confined. And it ’s cute!

[ After having this puffy for a month, I 'm pretty happy with it. My job keeps me outside in all kinds of weather, so I have worn this puffy almost everyday so far this winter. I 've found that its best suited for 25- 45 degree weather. Anything above, and I get too hot! Anything below that range, and it is just cold enough that I would put on a thicker base layer underneath or wear a tougher shell over the puffy. Its great at cutting wind chill too. And with the fun heat seal part, I 'm excited to see how long this thing lasts with the activities I put through all my clothes!

[ Stylish and functional. Not overly puffy for a down jacket. This is more of a fitted style. Zero stitch baffling is a unique idea but have not worn it long enough to see if it maintains warmth due to the flatness of the material in between. Love the soft reflective lining.

[ This coat exceeded my expectations in so many ways! I wanted a low volume coat that allowed freedom of movement and still provide warmth. When I received the coat, I new the thickness was exactly what I was looking for but I was really surprised how warm it really is! I absolutely love the cut and fit. I 'm really glad I found this coat! Lori W

When selecting a running winter jacket, consider features such as insulation for warmth, water resistance or waterproofing to protect against rain and snow, and breathability to keep you comfortable during intense workouts. Look for jackets with reflective elements for visibility in low-light conditions and adjustable hoods or cuffs for a better fit.
Running winter jackets are typically made from a combination of synthetic materials that offer insulation, water resistance, and breathability. Common materials include polyester and nylon, often treated with finishes to enhance their weather-resistant properties. Insulation can come from down or synthetic fibers, providing warmth without excessive bulk.
Choosing the right size for a running winter jacket involves considering both your measurements and the intended fit. Look for jackets that allow for layering underneath, especially if you plan to wear additional clothing for warmth. It's also important to check sizing charts and read reviews for insights on fit and comfort.
Yes, running winter jackets can be suitable for various outdoor activities beyond running, such as hiking, walking, or skiing. Their insulation and weather-resistant features make them versatile for cold and wet conditions. However, ensure that the jacket's design and fit align with the specific activity for optimal performance.
When layering with a running winter jacket, consider the base and mid-layers you will wear underneath. A moisture-wicking base layer will help keep you dry, while an insulating mid-layer can provide additional warmth. Ensure that your jacket has enough room to accommodate these layers without restricting movement.
Running winter jackets differ from regular winter jackets primarily in their design and functionality. They are typically lighter, more fitted, and made with materials that prioritize breathability and moisture management. Additionally, running jackets often feature elements like ventilation zippers and reflective details to enhance performance during physical activity.
