For being so lightweight this jacket is incredibly warm! Keeps me the perfect level of toasty on sub 30s New England runs. Runs a bit small so I suggest sizing up. For reference I ’ m 6 ’ 0 tall, size 6/medium and ultimately went with a large.

This jacket was purchased as a gift. It's perfect for those with an outside job, like to ski or do other winter sports, and just a nice all around jacket. The warming element is amazing! My only issue as sizing. Seems to run a size larger. I purchased a Medium which is the true size for my nephew, and it overwhelmed him. I 'm exchanging for a Small. BTW, my husband has had his jacket for many years and absolutely loves it!

Nice quality and true size. Love the length and that the zipper, unzippers around the hips and does n't ride up when riding. I Have only used 1 time so far, weather is finally getting warmer!!. A cool morning in the 30's and traveling the turnpike, had the heat on low with a long sleeve t- shirt and another light weight jacket over top. Stayed nice and warm traveling at highway speed.

I work at a meat shop and when I am inside the freezer, it is really cold and it kills me. Once I used a normal jacket without any heating elements in it, but it did not work out fine. I was scrambling last minute to find a coat for our November trip to Grand Canyon, Zion, and Moab with lows at night in the 12- 27' F range and but also keep my not too warm during hikes between 30- 50' F. This coat was great. I had strategic layers including the Tri Thermal Threads Tunic from Prana 2020 at night. I hate being cold, and was pleased at the performance of this jacket. I even regretted not wearing it one morning on one hike. Back home in Indiana, I 'll keep wearing this until it feels more wintery. It is lightweight, truly stretchy, and breaks the wind.

I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I have an extra battery that I also carry and rarely need to use it. Wear it as a thermal layer under a coat for max protection and warmth. At times I will even wear it around the house instead of turning up the thermostat. I have the fleece vest version too.

Bought this heated jacket as a riding layer but first I wanted to test it out on a walk with my dog. My neighborhood is near the water so we get a cold wind off the water. This jacket kept me warm in 38 degree( including windchill) at 25%. I have n't had to turn it up yet, but I ca n't wait to try the different levels.

This is my second Gerbing Fleece product. My first was a 7V fleece heated sweater/jacket from Cabela's( made by Gerbing) which is still working great after 4 years. My new Gerbing Gyde Zenith Fleece Heated Jacket? Outstanding! This one has 4 heat levels instead of three and a larger capacity battery which is a welcome improvement. This heated jacket fits well, is well made and while I tried the highest heat setting just for fun, I doubt I will need to use high very often. This thing puts out some serious heat. For all day outdoor adventures, I would recommend buying a couple of extra batteries. I did. I would n't hesitate recommending this to anybody.
