I 'm 5' 2 100lbs and usually wear an XS and this jacket fits me well with extra room for layering. I love the Turtle Dove color as it is a creamy/vanilla shade that pairs well with any snow pant color. Amazing features- snow skirt, thumb cut outs, water proof and wind proof, zippers up to my chin, well insulated, and, multiple pockets. This jacket is one of the best quality ski jackets on the market now. I would say it's comparable to Helly Hansen's Alphelia jacket in terms of fit and features but for a lower price point. It even has a similar fit to the Arc'teryx jackets if you cinch the waistline in and tuck it. You can get away with wearing no layers underneath this jacket in 30F weather. I 've already gotten many compliments and will be wearing this to back to back ski trips in Vermont and Colorado! I agree with other reviews that a snow helmet can not fit underneath the hood, but that is NOT a con for me as wearing a hood while skiing usually obstructs my view anyway.

I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

For me, it's the perfect sun hoody. I wanted something super light for hiking in the sun and just a little sun protection to prevent me from burning, because I still want the vitamin D. This barely weighs anything and I find it surprisingly durable for what it is. It's not tough by any mean, but I was worried it would deteriorate after a few uses. I have two minor complaints: 1. is that it's quite expensive for how simple it is. 2. The t- shirt version fit differently than this version, it was quite tight around the chest, I was expecting the same fit. The t- shirt version is great for working out in the gym on a hot day where they still insist you wear a shirt.

For me, it's the perfect sun hoody. I wanted something super light for hiking in the sun and just a little sun protection to prevent me from burning, because I still want the vitamin D. This barely weighs anything and I find it surprisingly durable for what it is. It's not tough by any mean, but I was worried it would deteriorate after a few uses. I have two minor complaints: 1. is that it's quite expensive for how simple it is. 2. The t- shirt version fit differently than this version, it was quite tight around the chest, I was expecting the same fit. The t- shirt version is great for working out in the gym on a hot day where they still insist you wear a shirt.

It ’s very light weight. I wear it as a base layer for resort and backcountry skiing and it ’s the perfect weight. I imagine it will be a great sun shirt as well. The hood fits well, not too snug and there is a little neck protection. It ’s a great piece for the outdoor adventurer or the casual explorer looking for a little protection. The sizing was spot on.

These pants are awesome. Great baggier fit for people with larger muscular legs. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 or 188cm and I got a L regular. Slightly long but nothing a belt can ’ t help. I took them on a mountaineering adventure snowshoeing through knee to waist deep snow without getting even a drop wet. Incredible breathability, stretch, and comfort. I love the color too! They even ripped because I snagged them with a crampon and still didn ’ t let any water through!

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

Excellent fit and cut. Maybe run a little tight in the waist and hips, slim through the leg. The new AP Active fabric is amazing. Its super soft, breathable, has great stretch. I am giving 4* because the front hip pockets are awkwardly short. I have a normal sized mobile phone and it wo n't fit in those pockets( or the rear pockets) vertically. Also, I wonder about the durability of the fabric long term. That being said, I am going to get another pair. I 'd buy even more if these were a tad heavier and with 5 pocket styling.

I 've been using these for cold weather biking. They are warm, slightly wind resistant and there is no seam along the inside of the thumb and palm so there's no pressure point when gripping handlebars. Unexpected but great feature. Just right. Also good for general use in cold, but not frigid temperatures. Great contoured fit.

These things definitely run a bit hot. I can barely take them of cold trail runs, and actually go with thinner gloves. But they 're great for backcountry skiing. They are also a bit small, I would go up one size than you think.

This jersey fits really well and is breathable enough for days up to around 75° with some sun. The material is strong enough to withstand some rock/tree abrasions. The fit feels great and is tight enough to not have a ton of flapping, but not so tight that I feel like I can ’ t move.

Fits true to size, I 'm 6' 2 '' 185, size large fits perfect. The material is comfortable, breathes well, and is durable so far. I used to be a short sleeve purist on my rides, but this material is breathable enough that I do n't get hot wearing it on sunny days. Plus the long sleeves protect my arms from the sun and branches along narrow trails. The only disadvantage is it `` holds the stink '' but that is typical for synthetic materials.

Bought these to transition away from trail running shoes for hiking. They felt really good right out of the box. Wore them around town to see if there would be any break in before I used them hiking. There was just a small bit of rub on the top of my toes, but not bad. I usually buy wide width shoes and boots, but the toe box on these has plenty of room.

I bought the Elixir Activ Mid Gore- Tex for a 6- day 52- mile hike in the Columbia River Gorge, OR. I barely broke them in but they were great. No blisters at all. They have a lot more cushion than the Outpulse which is why I choose this boot even though the Outpulse seemed to fit my feet a little better in shape form. One thing I think is missing is a second top hook for the laces. That would have been really nice for a snugger fit for rock scrambling at a 25 grade. Overall though, very happy with these.

This is my favorite pair of hiking shoes. I have taken these on two 5+ hour mountain hikes with no discomfort. I took them through waterways and rain/hail storms and my feet remained perfectly dry. I felt the traction was top tier and always felt secure and stable and I enjoyed the ankle support. There was absolutely no break- in period. I ordered a half size up and am very satisfied.

I bought these to wear on a trip to Montana, expecting to wear them hiking then switch to my Brooks running shoes for indoor activities. These were so comfortable I wore them for everything! The lugs are a good size for hiking trails or walking in loose gravel, but are n't so large as to make walking on pavement uncomfortable. I love them! Will look into getting the low cut version for summer use.

I purchased these boots for an upcoming Search& Rescue mission in South Carolina/ WNC Mountains. These boots broke in quickly after wear, and were the absolute best experience I ’ ve ever wore during a mission. Let me say I wasn ’ t “ trail hiking ” for long, these boots took me to places I ’ ve never thought possible. From crossing boulders, walking up/across down trees and through water, from a first responders view, I won ’ t leave the house without them. They are true to size, easy to lace and comfortable. I could imagine if you installed insoles they would be even better but they are certainly not needed. If you ’ re questioning buying these, do it! You won ’ t regret it.- Chad
