They are on the thicker and chunkier side, but are perfect for the fall/winter. The air bubble makes them really comfortable to wear and gives you a whole new look with the four air bubbles in the back. These give you some inches added to your height with how thick the soles are. My socks have stayed dried when I wore these in the rain! These are true to size. First of all, it ’s built like a traditional running shoe, but it has an extra layer on top to help keep out the elements. This is my second pair. They are really cute! This pair fits as did my others and these have one snap in the back to hold the liner where my previous pair had snaps on either side which were actually a nuisance, so good deal. My only issue is that this pair doesn ’ t have a neoprene “ tongue ” across the top of the liner. The neoprene piece made sliding your foot in easier. Hope they last because they are warm and comfy. They are NOT wide so if you need that these won ’ t work. On sale it ’s a good value.

Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I did n't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground. Pros:- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I could n't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Did n't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather. Design/size:- I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I did n't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8. 5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet were n't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

I am a size 7 but on the smaller side of a size 7 so it was fine but if you find you are sometimes a 7 or 71/2 definitely go up at least a 1/2 size.

[ This is great. Honestly, when I first wore it out it was a little too tight for me and I thought I needed a bigger size. Since it is a waterproof shoe, you can expect it to be a little bit tighter obviously to help keep water out during rainy training days. The second time I wore them they felt much better and didn ’ t feel as tight. I normally go half a size or a full size up for running shoes. I ’ m normally a 9, but did a 9. 5. The cushion on these shoes is amazing. They have the new zoom cushion which is super comfortable and you can wear out for long periods of time. I did a few recovery runs in this shoe during the rain storms we have been having and they did great on concrete with rain, road with rain, and some softer terrain with muddy surfaces. I didn ’ t feel like I would slip or anything while running- the grip on these shoes is amazing.

I have trained with it mostly on the road, where the cushioning and responsiveness have made for a smooth, comfortable run. But what surprised me the most was how well it transitioned off- road. [ First off, these are so much more comfortable than I expected! They fit perfect with jeans or skinny jeans. I sprayed them with a water bottle as a test to the waterproof claim and the water beaded and rolled right off. The inserts are thick and have a ton of cushion to add to the overall comfortability. The soles are thick and look like they will last a long time. Walking across my kitchen floor the soles never slipped once. I can not wait for fall to get here so I can wear these.

These are my sixth pair of Sorel boots. I have three dressy pairs, two traditional winter boots, and now these. I wanted casual boots the wore like running shoes( something with heel support without a high heel). This style was perfect for it. These have kept my feet warm and dry when the temps are below zero. I ’ m a true 7. 5, and these fit very well. They are slightly wide in the opening( I don ’ t know the proper term), but not enough to bother me. The width near the toes is standard/wide. Most of my Sorel boots fit narrow, and can be uncomfortable at times( the reason I fit into 7. 5 vs 7). These are not uncomfortable. I ’ ve received many compliments about the boots. The color is neutral and these fit true to size. If you wear thick socks, size up a half size. Otherwise your normal size will work. The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small.
