I returned some much more expensive shorts( very popular brand name) to the store and decided to browse around while I was there. I am so glad I stumbled upon these shorts! The body the shorts are a very lightweight material-- if I had to dig for a negative, it's that they are SO light and airy and sometimes when I 'm running at the gym, I 'll just do a quick glance over my shoulder to make sure I 'm covered. I always am, but they are that breathable and light. But not see- through or sheer. I did buy black and the dark red and ca n't confirm the see- through qualities of the lighter colors. For size reference, I am 5' 6 '', 138#, a 6 in most pants and I bought a medium. I probably could 've gone with a small, but I do n't like things to cut into my waist. The waistband does n't stretch out with wear, so I think the size is perfect.

These are my favorite high- waisted shorts ever. I have 7 pairs. These are my everyday shorts, gym shorts, walking shorts, house shorts, errand shorts, etc. They fit perfect on my waist and have enough coverage that they are comfortable for exercising. I am usually a medium but sized these up to large so they would cover more and not ride up and show butt cheeks( medium did this to me). I would consider sizing up if you want more coverage.

I really love the soft and buttery feel of the InfinaSoft fabric! I bought a second pair immediately after receiving the first because that ’s how much I loved them! More importantly, I love the fact that the thigh area( hems) aren ’ t stitched. My personal opinion is that Nike ’s biker shorts are made for women with slimmer/smaller quads. I have purchased numerous pairs of their biker shorts only to return them because they ’ re just too tight and constricting on my quads. The only pairs of Nike biker shorts that I own are the Nike Pro 5 inch shorts. They, too, fit amazing and I have nearly every color! The 5 inch Pros are just my preference.
