I replaced them with a Large and they fit great. I bought the 5 '' in black and pink. The only thing that I do n't like about these shorts is the drawstring. They are so thin that it comes out of the wash tangled and twisted tight every time. It's annoying but not that big of a deal.

[ Wow! Just ran 2 miles in these can honestly say I ’ m very pleased. I typically would never run in shorts due to chaffing but thought I would give these a try since they were advertised as sweat wicking. The shorts did not disappoint. During the run I did sweat quite a bit as you can see from armpits in pic and the shorts did not get wet one bit. I wore a size 0x and at first try on thought they were a big loser than I would like, but that loser fit played into comfortability. During my run I was extremely comfortable, did not have to tug on bottoms to pull them down or adjust fitting. They also have built in underwear, which is a plus. This is a piece you want regret, if your active, they perform exactly has advertised and if your looking to run errands comfortably you will still be stylish.

The faux fly and back pocket make these superrrr versatile. They do not flare out much at the thigh which I like. These fit true to size for me. Having a waistband you can cinch is clutch too. These handled leg day with ease- no restrictions! The woven fabric feels great to the touch and wicks moisture crazy fast. If you are looking for shorts you can wear to the gym, but also can somehow look good enough to rock a polo with- these are them. Very impressive!

My only complaint is that the actual color of the shorts dont match what is shown in the pictures. The gray ones for example look like a lighter gray but in person are very dark. I find this to be a common pattern with Nike ’s products. Maybe they use a filter on their photos and edit the lighting which in turn changes the color in the photos. These are great shorts. I mainly use them for running and functional training but they are so comfy i even wear them around the house casually. I love shorts that are a bit forgiving around the waist and dont feel like they are suffocating me. The Nike Stride shorts tend to make me feel that way. Also the liner is a great size on these shorts and actually fit, much wider than the stride shorts. I think if you ’ re built wider or maybe your a body builder type with more muscle, then these might be a better fit. I wear Medium in shorts and pants in general and I ordered a Medium in these.

I didn ’ t have to use the drawstrings, but they are available if needed. I personally really do prefer 7 ” inseam length shorts for the my comfort, and the length on these are perfect! From what I can tell so far with these shorts, the liner material used does well in moisture wicking to help keep dry during sweating! Last, a note on luxury! So many pockets and opportunities for storage in these shorts! I ’ m counting multiple stash pockets, a zippered back pocket, and even a pocket for your key to keep with you while running! Quality product and I would recommend to all runners!

[ The Men ’s Journey 7 ” short is a great pair of shorts for running. They have cell phone pouches on each side, both at the hip and rear hip. There is also a nice secure zip pocket on the rear that can hold a standard phone, but not a plus size phone. Running with a phone in the rear zip pocket felt a little loose, but the other positions were great. I did not feel much phone movement in the hip pouches, nor did I feel like my phone would fall out at any time. The rear zipped pocket might be better for keys or a credit card. The shorts were a good size for running with adequate length and good moisture wicking material. They have internal underwear, but they could be worn over boxer briefs and still feel fine. They generally were still dry after a run other than the waist band. The shorts were great from a design for technology while running perspective. They are well designed running shorts, but would not be great shorts for casual wear since there are no front pockets. They also are a little short for casual wear. I really liked that the shorts had a good dry fit material to keep you dry and cool during a run. The multiple phone pouches were also a great addition. I question how long the pouch elastic will last, but that will take time to evaluate. The only complaint I would have is that the shorts material was wrinkly. Out of the box they were wrinkly, and that hasn ’ t gone away yet after several runs. I ’ ll have to wash them to see if that smoothes them out. I suspect it will based upon other similar materials I ’ ve had in clothing. All in all these are great shorts and I ’ m glad to have a pair of them to run in.

It wicks moisture away really well, so I don ’ t get that uncomfortable damp feeling. I love how comfortable they are, even when I ’ m just wearing boxers. The liner on the inside is very comfortable and most importantly not restrictive. Wore these at the gym and felt amazing for leg day. The liner does a great job with compression and the shorts themselves are light and flexible. The liner also features a phone pocket, I typically put my car keys in there as I don ’ t like leaving them on the ground, but I ’ ve also put my plus sized phone a few times and had no issues at all. They have an interior feature, that helps post pregnancy bodies like mine, smooth out your baby gut; it functions like a girdle! Also, there are hidden pockets on the shorts that are AMAZING!!! I can place my phone, keys, a stick of gum or bubble gum in them and not feel like I ’ m wearing old school cargo shorts. Lol! [ These shorts are soo fun! The print is very much like tie dye but the color way allows it to be matched with almost all my basic neutral Active wear tops. They look soo cute because it ’s more flowy- it looks almost like a skirt on me. The top layer has a very thin yet durable feel to it. It allows for Maximum breathability and extra fast drying, they feel almost waterproof to me! I love that there is an extra layer lining under as the top layer is pretty thin along with the color of the fabric. The inside is just as silky smooth and you can barely feel it. There ’s a Drawstring inside the waistband that can not be seen- I love it when it ’s inside because it creates that sleek look to them. There is even a zippered pocket outside on the leg as well as another on the waistband in the back; this is super important for me because I hate things falling out and I never like bringing any bags with me when I ’ m going out and about. They make the perfect hiking and running shorts. The logo is already very fun and creative. It says Nike trail diagonally along the seam!
