I normally don ’ t write reviews. But these are by far some of the most comfortable and flattering running shorts I ’ ve worn in a long time! I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ” 115lbs and the XS was perfect. Waistband just right, not too tight or loose, and the rise is in- between typical mid- rise and high- rise so I don ’ t feel like I ’ m having to roll them down or pull them up to be flattering. I bought a pair of these when they first came out a couple of years ago and always saved them for my `` dress '' shorts. I always looked forward to wearing them as they are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I finally decided to replace my lined Breeze shorts with the active breeze shorts because they are just so much more comfortable than the Breeze short. The extra comfort comes from the difference in the waste band. The old Breeze short had a typical stretch liner but the new active breeze short has more of smooth band where you do n't feel the waist band against the skin, you dont actually know you are wearing them.
