They have a built in liner/underwear so my daughter is protected and comfy for when she ’s tumbling and running around and doing cartwheels everywhere you don ’ t have to worry about her undergarments showing. The fabric is SO soft. It ’s more of a cotton feel rather than the windbreaker type feel which is so much more softer on her skin. We got the matching jacket and she just loves looking so stylish among all her friends. It does well in the washer and the color stays bright. Definitely a great add to any wardrobe!

My daughter ’s comment “ I like that they aren ’ t super tight to my body, that they flow. ” The shorts allow her to move freely without having to wear tight shorts, a perfect piece to add to her wardrobe. They are nice and lightweight but not flimsy. The woven fabric is durable and stands up well to a normal active 6- year- old!
