I purchased an extra large in black. I am about a women's sized 12 US, 5' 7 '', 170lb. The length of the leg was great and the length of the arms. When I squat and move my arms, however, skiing motion, they 're just is n't enough length between the crotch and the armpits, if that makes sense. So, I think the torso is just too short for my body. [ Traveled to Alaska in January and brought these pants along. They kept me warm and dry in- 30 F temps and did very well in several feet of snow while snow shoeing and sledding. I at first bought a size small and they fit me like a glove, then returned for a medium so that I could wear them on top of my bottom layers for the day. The medium fit well with jeans and thermals under. The bottom of the pants have an elastic to go around your boot to keep snow from getting in your pants and boots and that seemed to hold up well despite me trucking along in several feet of snow.

I bought a size small because the medium was quite big. In cm, I am between 65- 70cm in waist and hips 100- 105cm. Fitted great, a bit tight at the beginning but with use got loose.
