These pants, as well as the matching shirts, are great for when your son's baseball coach thinks it's a good idea to hold practice in January when it's 38 degrees and no tournament until March! You can put this under any jersey or uniform to keep warm. Do n't mess around with the cheap ones you can find at other online retailers. They 're real thin and do n't add much thermal support. I highly recommend this shirt! It is very warm and cozy. It is marketed as a cold weather running shirt but I use it as a base layer for outdoor activities. I have worn it under a hoodie while attending my son's Friday night football game. It kept me warm throughout the entire game. I also use it as a first layer when walking my dog in the cool mornings. The extended sleeves with thumb holes are a nice addition and really help to keep my hands warm. It washes nicely and stays true to form.
