So far, I have worn it a couple of ways- with a fitted long sleeve t- shirt( pictured) and with a thick hoodie. It worked very well both ways! It does fit on the looser side. For size reference, I 'm petite 5' x 1 '' and have this in size XS. For a more fitted look, I probably could have sized down. One feature I like about the vest is the bottom drawstring as I am able to cinch it for a more fitted look. The side zippered pockets allow me to secure my items without needing to worry about them slipping out. Overall, I highly recommend it!

First off I 'd recommend going a size down if you 're planning on wearing this with light and thin underlayers, but if you 're wanting to wear it with thicker items like the Canada Shirt, I 'd go with your true size. It is getting to be a little chilly in the mornings when we run and this is a great lightweight but warm vest to take the morning chill off, but not too heavy so that you overheat once you get warmed up. I was pleasantly surprised how soft the fabric is, the pockets zip up so things don ’ t fall out while your running. Overall this vest is very comfortable, warm and lightweight, I would definitely recommend it!

Perfect mid- layer fit. I 'm 195lbs/ 6' 3 ''/ XL. It is a mid- layer fit though! goes great over most mid- layers( fleece, light insulation, or fitted sweater) with the limiting factor being the size of the arm holes. Also fits great under heavier outer layers and adds a significant amount of warmth. Love the double zip. Simple, functional, and stylish piece.
