It's probably not your go to for winter in northern Alaska but more than sufficient for a decade of use where i live. ... Works great in the Pacific Northwest winters as a casual jacket with a tee shirt underneath, and can pack down really small for a back country...

Very light weight. Packing compressed it a lot and it took a couple days for it to expand out. My first time wearing it was in 30 degrees and it kept me very warm. I am 5' 6 '' and a large was a good fit for me, especially for arm length. I am a little concerned about longevity because of how light weight it is, but time will tell on that. Material and stitching are top notch and the jacket is very comfortable to wear. I HATE the feeling of gortex and this has more of silky feel inside and out, which is perfect. For a general use winter jacket this is perfect.

Very light jacket in terms of weight. Does n't deliver a ton of warmth despite its size so I 'd use it with a fleece layer underneath. Love the fit and the OR black logo looks great on the sleeve
