Right away they are super lightweight and stretchy. The 5 '' length is right on trend and the neutral olive colorway I have looks awesome with anything. The faux fly and back pocket make these superrrr versatile. They do not flare out much at the thigh which I like. These fit true to size for me. Having a waistband you can cinch is clutch too. These handled leg day with ease- no restrictions! The woven fabric feels great to the touch and wicks moisture crazy fast. If you are looking for shorts you can wear to the gym, but also can somehow look good enough to rock a polo with- these are them. Very impressive!

They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. Since its the winter here in Chicago, I am doing all my workouts inside, but they would definitely be great to wear outside too. The length is great, just short enough but not too short!. [ Aside from being slightly snug( not enough to not wear), these are great for my casual runs. The shorts are just the right length to not get in the way, yet no rubbing or chaffing. The hidden zippered pockets are great for hiding money or an ID. They are n't the warmest if you are running on a chilly day, but they are n't letting me freeze either. They do later nice too so I can wear thin compression tights underneath without issue. The color is masculine too and matches most of my clothing. I 've really got no complaints comfort wise, so just know to size up a little bit.

[ I have about 25 miles in these shorts and I love them. They ’ re comfortable and light. I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” and the 5 ” length is great for my body- type and preference. The pockets are useful and out of the way. There ’s one zippered pocked in the back, four elastic pockets that sit towards the back of my hips, and one internal pocket. The elastic pockets are great for quick grabs like gels. I ’ m usually a size 34 waist in my pants and the medium shorts are a great fit. They don ’ t sag or shift much at all when tied down. Overall these shorts feel minimal while still providing plenty of options to carry basics.

I have been running in a pair of Brooks shorts for close to a decade. As a long- distance runner, I need shorts that are going to go the distance! First, my favorite feature of these shorts is the numerous pockets along the comfortable waistband( including a zipper pocket). The smooth design of the elastic waistband is very comfortable even with things in the pockets. Second of all, the built- in liner compression type shorts are a good fit while not being too tight. Finally, I expect the material of these shorts are going to last me another decade of fitness!

My only complaint is that the actual color of the shorts dont match what is shown in the pictures. The gray ones for example look like a lighter gray but in person are very dark. I find this to be a common pattern with Nike ’s products. Maybe they use a filter on their photos and edit the lighting which in turn changes the color in the photos. These are great shorts. I mainly use them for running and functional training but they are so comfy i even wear them around the house casually. I love shorts that are a bit forgiving around the waist and dont feel like they are suffocating me. The Nike Stride shorts tend to make me feel that way. Also the liner is a great size on these shorts and actually fit, much wider than the stride shorts. I think if you ’ re built wider or maybe your a body builder type with more muscle, then these might be a better fit. I wear Medium in shorts and pants in general and I ordered a Medium in these.

The shorts are clean and tight looking, I enjoy wearing them with a plain white or black poly tee with some low cut white shoes. I 've owned many pairs of the original Stretch Zion shorts and now have moved to the new version. The new Stretch Zion II is has a few changes, but in my opinion, they are still a great pair of shorts. The minor changes like the plastic button and the new fabric still work fine and did n't bother me. Going to the plastic button from the metal one only took a few times of wearing them to get easier to button. The new fabric is still super soft and comfortable but has a sort of shine to it when the light hits them just right. Not a big deal for me. The things that make these my favorite shorts are the comfortable fabric, the adjustable waist band, the color options, and the different pockets. They are also very versatile, I can wear them for activities like hiking and also to a nice restaurant. I own multiple pairs because I wear them all summer.

I bought these based on a friend's recommendation. After week one, I had a small fire in the back of my truck... long story, but in the process of putting it out, a lot of the melting plastic from my tent and sleeping pads hit my right leg. Melting and sticking to my shorts. It did not go through and wonderfully enough after many washes, there is only a small hole and a stain from the event. My lower uncovered bare leg did n't fare as well, but they certainly helped me get the fire out and save my truck. These short are tough! I will be buying a second pair for sure.

I have purchased four pairs over as many years, one was nearly identical called Abisko Lite Trekking Shorts but I see no difference, the current `` Lite '' model does look different. Anyhow these are simply great from nearly every perspective. Light, but reinforced where you 'd want them to be. Stretchy and slim, not baggy and sloppy and yet you never feel constrained by them especially if you have big thighs. I 'm very glad there's no back pockets but instead a reinforced seat, my area if NE has much sharp granite you end up sitting on these do well. There's two well thought out low- profile cargo pockets that look sharp and are actually useful. Glad there's a mesh pouch for a phone in one. And low profile zippers for the properly deep hand pockets to keep items from falling out. What would I add? two small plastic snaps on the bottom cuffs so you could roll them up once and get a little more above the knee thigh cooling. I 've noticed I do this when I am really working and even without any kind of snap the stretchy material generally keeps the `` cuff '' and lets me have a shorter short. Also side vent zips please!. Then these would be absolutely perfect. Anyhow, pair five is being picked up soon.
