The AG soleplate had the perfect amount of traction without being too overly aggressive. I have bad knees and ankles so the stud pattern helped my joints so much. The colorway is beautiful. These definitely feel like next- gen. The knitted feeling isn ’ t too sticky on the ball. For a boot like the phantom, it ’s very close to a speed boot.

[ I ’ m a professional athlete and have always worn Nike cleats. I started with Mecurials in college and then transitioned to Tiempos when I started playing professionally. But these Phantoms are incredible. They ’ re really light and shaped so well to my feet. I had great ball control. They also held up really well in the rain. I felt like I was still able to strike with precision. They ’ ve also done really well on turf. My other cleats ripped within 2 wears, but these still look fresh out of the box after 10+ wears. They were a bit tight the first session I wore them, but that ’s my only complaint. They fit true to size.

I ’ ve played with many different cleats but this one feels the best. My only downside is that I wish the spikes were round all the way through. Totally personal preference though. I think it makes it even more stable.
