Have been using these here in the Adirondacks on low- snow- year, moderately steep hikes. Versatile so far, allowing for excellent traction on packed snow and variable iced- up stream beds. Ca n't comment on durability so far as I 've only had them a couple of weeks, but so far so good. Pay attention to the size chart, and tend to the lower end of your size. I wear a size 9 and went from size large to a medium. You want these to be snug on your kicks... Also, had a great transaction with Dick's exchanging for the right size. All in all, a great purchase!

Hikes with dogs
These are awesome. I can ’ t imagine winter up here in NH without them. They fit onto any shoe and really help for dog walking and hiking in icy conditions. My current set has lasted for 2 years, but now needs to be replaced. I ’ m so glad I found these.

I bought these just before a big snow/ice storm and they were great. Fit well over boots. No slippage on boots. Great grip on the snow and ice. You should n't wear them inside on wood floors but I had no problem with carpet and linoleum. Felt safe for the first time in my icy driveway!
