We bought these baseball shoes for our 10 year old grandson that plays the game at an exceptional level and thought he needed shoes to match his skills. The foundation of the shoes are TPU. They are as close to metal cleats as you can get. Although these shoes are expensive, in researching other brands that have a tendency to wear down quickly, we were looking for something that could continue to provide the traction he needs playing nearly 75 games per year and year round weekly practices.

My son has had 2 pairs, been the best cleats. He loves how comfortable and lightweight they are. The clear pattern is great for baseball and the cleat sharpness is great for a spike alternative. With so many turf fields, these are a perfect alternative to having 2 pairs of cleats.

I can not say enough greats things for these cleats. I absolutely love the wolf gray colorway with white and black. I hope they continue with this colorway. They do tend to run big so I would size half an inch down. I wear a size 10 in shoes and the 9 1/2 fit perfect for me. The knit is also super stretchy and very comfortable.

Positioning cleats are specialized footwear designed to enhance performance for specific roles in sports, particularly in baseball. Unlike regular cleats, which provide general support, positioning cleats often feature unique designs and traction patterns that cater to the movements and demands of particular positions, such as infielders or outfielders.
When selecting positioning cleats, consider features such as the type of traction, the fit, and the level of support they provide. Look for cleats with strategically placed studs for optimal grip on the field, a snug fit to prevent slipping, and cushioning for comfort during play. Additionally, materials that offer breathability can enhance overall performance.
Yes, positioning cleats can be designed for various playing surfaces, including turf and natural grass. It's important to choose cleats that are specifically engineered for the surface you will be playing on, as this can affect traction and stability. Turf cleats typically have shorter, more numerous studs, while cleats for grass may feature longer, more spaced-out studs.
To find the right size for positioning cleats, it's best to measure your foot and consult the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. Keep in mind that different brands may have slight variations in sizing, so trying on cleats or reading customer reviews about fit can also be helpful. Ensure there is enough room for your toes while maintaining a snug fit around the heel.
While positioning cleats are specifically designed for certain sports, they may be suitable for other activities that require similar movements and traction. However, it's important to consider the specific demands of each sport, as using cleats designed for one sport in another may not provide the necessary support or performance benefits.
