We took this training parachute out to the fields to add another level of resistance when do speed and agility drills. It worked great. Added another level of challenge to the basic running, speed and agility session. The waistband strap was easy to attach and was adjustable. The only negative- which has nothing to do with the functionality of the product is putting it away…. [ I bought this rope about 7 years ago and am getting ready to retire it. It's been a great rope. It handles well and works great for top roping and sport( I 've taken it on trad climbs too, but just been the follower). It's a little thicker than lots of ropes out there now, but great for durability and an excellent beginner rope. It was stiff at first but after a few falls and uses it's great. This rope is a great price point compared with others. Petzl has great products. I 'd highly recommend this rope to anyone looking to get into climbing outside that needs a workhorse for all different kinds of climbing. It works with ATC and Grigri.

I like the weight in the rope rather than the handles. It rotates easily when jumping. The handle were a little slippery when I got into my workouts and the rope was a little curly at first but eventually straightened out.

I used to run a lot when I was younger just getting out of college, but then I stopped a little because my legs would get sore easy. I started reading up on jumping rope as a comparative exercise that has the same, if not better, benefits as running in less time. I saw a some other jump ropes that were somewhat bland and cheap looking, and then came across the weighted rope. It's been working like a charm. It is a little tangly/tight initially because of the material, but after a couple uses, it's fine. I sweat a lot when I workout, so my hands sometimes get slick and the handles could use a little more grip. Hopefully once my body gets more acclimated, it wo n't be an issue.

I lost the weight in the handle of a different weighted rope I was given as a gift awhile ago and needed a new rope. I chose the Lifeline rope because the weight is n't in the handles, its in the rope, which I wanted to compare to the weighted handle style. Its a different weorkout and a better one in my opinion. This rope has better rotation and I like the large handles. The rope was curly in the beginning but it straightened out the first time I used it.
