Very well made slacks with soft 2. 5 inch elastic band that hugs my waist nicely. Surprised to find that the zipper is fake but with the elastic waist they slide down easily after undoing the clasps. The two clasps make the waistband lay nicely. The legs are roomy but not huge. The fabric is a bit stretchy and allow for bending and squatting with comfort. I usually wear an 8 and ordered a Medium. They were big and I believe a small would fit well. The attention to detail and finishing makes these slacks stunning enough to dress up but are comfortable and durable enough to do anything else in them.

The pockets are deep so that your phone doesn ’ t fall out when you sit down, and there is one other deep pocket in the back. The width of the leg opening is adjustable through a zipper so you can decide how much of your shoes you want to show off, and the waistband is elastic in the back for a more comfortable fit. I also like the fact that the logo is pretty inconspicuous. The only thing I don ’ t like about them is that the material doesn ’ t stretch so they are not very comfortable for lounging. Upon actually trying them on and wearing them out, I love them. They fit well and are comfortable and in my opinion, can be dressed up or down depending on how you style them. They have slits on the bottom that are zippers and can be adjustable without a noticeable difference. The material seems durable and can be styled in so many ways. For context I am 5 ’ 3 ” 130 lbs with a small waist but a large bum. I ’ m a typical size SMALL in most all brands for both tops and bottoms. I originally purchased the size small and was dismayed at how large they were on me! But the length was perfect. I think ever since Mountain Hardwear was purchased by Columbia?, the sizing has become inconsistent. Luckily it seems that the quality of material is still there. I then purchased the XS. The fit seemed like it would be tight, but once I pulled it over my bum, fits comfortable and snug- however- the length is noticeably shorter- almost like “ petite ” sizing, which is disappointing. I will keep this pair though, as I mentioned, they are still good quality pants for winter!
