I bought 4 of these for my grandchildren to wear under their lacrosse gear. The size guide was spot on and the shirts did exactly what we wanted them to do which was to stop their shoulder and elbow pads from pinching them. The benefit we did not know was it kept those pads from shifting during play. The shirts do not hold body odour after washing and they dry quickly so can be washed in a hotel sink and hung up to dry. I had never worn heat gear leggings until last summer. I 'm very familiar with the cold gear. I like the 3/4 leggings only because it's more comfortable than the standard leggings.
