This racquet has worked great for me. I am an intermediate player, playing about two to three times a week. This racquet is lightweight and the oversized head helps a lot with hitting more balls. It is sold pre- strung at Dicks, and I love how it came in many different grip sizes. I do n't have any problems witht the stringing, considering it was pre- strung when I bought it. Because the racquet is made of titanium it is more durable yet light on the hands at the same time. I would definitely recommend this product!

I 've been playing with my new Wilson Ultra 100 V4 for about a month now and I 'm really enjoying it! I 've been playing with a Babolat for several years and although I liked it, I found it feeling a bit too heavy and stiff. The Wilson has more flex and feel and definitely feels more forgiving with less than perfect contact. It's hard to explain but it feels like the ball sits longer on the strings and I find I have much more control than I had with the stiffer Babolat.

I 've been using v7 16x19 for the last 3+ years. It worked great to reduce arm pain, swing very hard, and have decent control. I 've tried: the following as potential replacements for the v7 without satisfaction: E Zone 98 Blade 98 V8 Ultra Pro v4 98sqin Head Gravity Tour 100 Prince ATS Textreme Tour 98( not too far off) Vcore Pro 98( 2020 Version) Precept 98 330h( Close) For anyone using a v8- try this immediately. I never liked the v8. The v9 compared to the v7 is: More responsive- for the same level of effort More stable- There is no flutter on ground stokes for a stock v9( I have still not added any weight at 3& 9 and I 've had to do this to every racquet since switching from Pro Staffs.) I let a v8 user hit with the v9 yesterday for three minutes afterwards, he through his old blade on his bag and said `` I 'm switching and giving all of my v8's to my son '' More accurate- strung 2 lbs lower I can still hit targets easier than I could with the v7( Tourna Big Hitter Silver 7+ Ghostwire) Just slightly more stiff than the v7 but somehow less jarring than the v8 I 've bought three so far and will be getting two more and selling my v7's.

I like to play all- court, similar to a Federer style, and the Blade 98 16x19 V9 really delivers on control, feel, and versatility. The biggest strength is the precision. The 16x19 pattern also gives me plenty of spin when I need margin or want to shape shots. At the net, it ’s super solid and stable. Coming from clash I have the project shift 99 which is virtually the same as the 99 v1, and I have to say it does excel at power, spin and comfort as advertised. I used hybrid blast/ vs natural gut at only 50lbs each and the power is ridiculous. I will have it restrung at 58lbs next time bc a lot of shots are going out. But my serve game is significantly faster and the kick serve is vicious when it connects to the ground. The spin from this makes the clash look like a toy. The comfort is on par with the clash, which of course is the best comfort Wilson offers- it ’s very easy on the elbow. It really has the perfect swing too, just pick it up and it feels right with the right amount of head light swing weight. I love it. The color is the best I ’ ve seen on a racket too- you almost want to perfect it with the right color strings to match, but I opted for black. I ’ m sad to see my clash go, it has done me well and I thought I ’ d never trade it in, but when I get on the court I can ’ t help it- the clash feels like a wooden racket compared to the shift, Aside from the hybrids at high tension, I would recommend getting black grip tape as the white looks dirty after a couple games.

Of late I 've been hitting with a Clash Tour V2 for the last year or so, before that the Clash Tour V1. First off I 'd like to thank Wilson for making the Clash line, without that racket, I would n't be able to play nearly as much as I do because of my tennis elbow issues. Since I started playing with those rackets on a scale of 1 to 10, my pain is a 1. I can play tennis regularly, taking hundreds of reps on a ball machine no problem. That being said, I just got the Shift and for me it's a total game changer. Without a doubt it's in the Clash family, like driving a sports car, fast and fun! I tend to hit flatter so I struggle with generating spin and keeping it on the court, it REALLY does generate more spin! I was able to consistently hit kick serves for the first time in my life!! Again thank you Wilson for everything you 've contributed to tennis and pushing the limits of what's possible with racquets.
