The hat fits and stays in place while outdoors gardening and playing golf. In my 70's, I have been trying hats and caps for decades and this one is the very first that I can put in place and forget it is there.

[ Purchased this about a month ago to wear in our Florida sun and when traveling, hiking or for any other outdoors activity. This hat is very comfortable and not too warm. Love the fit, the look and the weight.

[ I do n't like a lot of weight on my head because I suffer from chronic migraines. I love how much sun protection this hat offers for so little weight. I also love the structure of the hat. I had another brand hat that was lightweight, but it was very floppy. It just did n't hold any kind of shape. I have had other hats with nice structure, but it was a lot of weight on my head. This is a great combination of structure in a lightweight package.

I bought this hat well over a year ago and it is great. I even have another one in olive. It is NOT made in China, but by our next door neighbor Canada! Even though the brass rivets that hold the straps in place tarnished due to sweat due to constant use, Tilley gladly replaced them at no charge and told me how to clean the brass. Great customer service with an 800 number. customer service with an 800 number if you should have any questions
