These are great snowboarding gloves and keep your hands warm and dry

5 lorilynn_16
My Son prefers mittens to gloves. Says it allows his fingers more wiggle room. He absolutely loved these and they kept his hands warm, which is great because he suffers from Cold Urticaria( an allergy to the cold). One of the things he REALLY loved was the drawstring to keep it attached to your hands/wrist. Said it was genius, although, I do n't think he's ever realized most have them.

I work outside throughout the winter and the hardest thing to do is keep my fingers warm when it gets 20 degrees or less. I decided to try these mittens for the times I do n't need fingers( gloves). They are excellent. I added a Hot Hands hand warmer to each mitten and they kept my fingers toasty. I could even take the mittens off, use my fingers to put some nuts on bolts, and put the mittens back on.... No problem. No more painfully cold fingers.

5 KMRM
Finally found a pair of mittens that have a removable liner( for washing) that stays put when you put mittens on and off. Fleece liner is comfortable, not bunchy, and so warm. Cuffs are comfortable and make these extra warm. Adjustable strap makes the fit just right. I have very cold hands and these are the best mittens I 've found. Also love the tough exterior on the palm side-- seem like they will be long lasting. Hestra is my new favorite brand-- I also bought the white leather ones for cross- country skiing.

[ I love the liner+ mitt for snowboarding. They kept my hands warm, and I even just used the liners for a bit even in cold weather. However the touch- screen enabled gloves do n't work at all for me once my fingers are cold.

[ I bought these for a ski trip and they were exactly what I needed. The high was in the 20's the last day and these kept my fingers quite warm. Everyone else( who had gloves with fingers) were complaining about their fingers freezing, so I was glad I went for these mittens. High quality and worth it!

Frequently Asked Questions For Top Snowboard Mittens

When selecting top snowboard mittens, consider features such as waterproofing, insulation, and breathability. Look for materials that provide warmth without sacrificing dexterity, as you'll need to maintain grip on your snowboard. Additionally, adjustable cuffs and wrist straps can enhance fit and keep snow out.

To choose the right size for snowboard mittens, measure your hand circumference and refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. It's important to ensure a snug fit that allows for movement while still being comfortable. Remember that some mittens may have a looser fit for added insulation, so consider your layering needs.

High-quality snowboard mittens are often made from materials like Gore-Tex, nylon, and leather, which offer durability and waterproofing. Insulation materials such as down or synthetic fibers provide warmth, while breathable linings help manage moisture. The combination of these materials can significantly impact performance in cold and wet conditions.

Mittens are generally considered better for snowboarding due to their design, which allows for better heat retention by keeping fingers together. This can be particularly beneficial in extremely cold conditions. However, gloves offer more dexterity, so the choice depends on your personal preference and the specific conditions you expect to encounter.

To maintain your snowboard mittens, it's essential to follow the manufacturer's care instructions, which often include hand washing and air drying. Regular cleaning helps preserve the waterproofing and insulation properties. Additionally, storing mittens in a cool, dry place can prevent damage and prolong their lifespan.
