[ The Thule Garment Folder is amazing! I do n't know where it's been all my life because it has certainly been needed. I will readily admit that I am a very neat packer and I thoroughly enjoy folding clothes. I have been known to pack my clothes in tissue paper as not to get wrinkled apparel once I have reached my destination. The garment folder eliminates the need for tissue paper. My clothes are just as neat when arriving at my destination as they were when I packed them. It even comes with a folding guide to aid in folding fitted shirts, pants and skirts. Having the clothes in the folder, makes unpacking that much easier. I may also add that going through TSA is a bit more simple if using a carry on piece of luggage with the garment folder. [ I ’ ve always used a titanium or stainless steel set up for expeditions, but this kit ’s utility was apparent right away for sea kayaking expeditions. It ’s impressive packability is so much easier to cram into small hatches and any small voids. I really appreciate this factor the most. I wondered how it would hold up to my typical backpacking/kayaking stoves. A full, high burn on my usual stove( I use the MSR Pocket Rocket) caused no issues- it was a very quick boil for a full pot, actually, and the blue flame beneath the pot didn ’ t come anywhere close to the suggested max flame extent. I was kind of surprised that the instruction text on the bottom of the pot was not even affected. When you add in the two plates, two cups, and two bowls included in this kit- and it still packs as small(!)- the total weight is very backpack friendly especially if you are traveling with a partner or group. If I am solo, I would just take a small portion of the kit, and it is very comparable to my titanium gear ’s weight( but far more packable.) I honestly wasn ’ t sure when I first saw this kit that I would swap it out for my metal gear, but testing it out has sold me on it earning a place in my kayak programs. One ask: if they added or sold a snap lid for the bowl, I would love to make it my snack/lunch carrier in my day hatch as a swap for the Tupperware I usually use.

I would myself this pencil pouch in the Ox Red color and I 'm really liking it. I wanted a slim pencil pouch that could fit the essential school supplies since I mostly use an electronic device for taking notes and writing( but I still have some pencils and pens because it's always best to be safe). The quality of the pencil pouch is great; both the pouch's fabric and zipper are really nice to touch and handle. The only gripe I have, and it's mostly for others, is the fact that it ca n't fit too many supplies. It's a slim pouch, just keep that in mind. Recently got the fairview 60litre, ultralight packing cubes and pack pocket. Rucksack comes with a day bag.
