'' In person, it is much more of a brighter burnt orange, and I was instantly in love. For years, I did n't understand the benefits of packing cubes. Eventually, I started reading a lot of articles about one- bag packing and decided to give them a try. First game- changer. I found that I really liked the organization of packing cubes. Then I discovered compression packing cubes. Second game- changer- organized, plus keeping things tight so less chance for wrinkles, and saving a little space. I like the looks and the features. It is roomy, logical, light for its size, stands and rolls well. It ’s a little floppy when opening and closing so best to have it supported, and I ’ m a little worried that the fabric might tear but it ’s probably tough enough. It ’s large, and if fully packed it ’ ll be overweight for flights unless your stuff is fluffy. I wish it was 85L, not 100. A feature they should add is a protected access spot for an air tag. The top access pocket is very roomy( or not) depending on how much room you allow it when packing the interior. I like that.

We own Thule luggage so I wanted to update my daily carry electronics bag to something more durable. Thule's bags can take an airport beating and still work great. I like the fabric and that it is water resistant. I like the pockets and the interior key holder. Mine works as a backpack and a messenger bag. I can put all sorts of stuff in it, though I typically keep my glasses, Chromebook, wallet, keys, phone, and associated tech stuff in it. Anyway, who really cares. It works well.

Excellent travel backpack for a weekend or as a supplemental bag to a roller. Comfortable when wearing and super useful holding straps for when held to the side or on other bag. The pocket configuration is great and there is no wasted space. Some other bags( Aer SF) have more pockets but filling one pocket takes up space in another, this is not the case with the Base Camp Travel Pack
