Just to add context, I wear a size large in sweaters, vests, and jackets. Just to move my arms, I had to get an Extra Large just for it fit like a Large. In other words, I live in South Florida where it rarely gets chilly, but this is a great material for a cool morning walk or if you like keeping the AC low indoors! I am typically a size 18 on top and the XXL fits just right, so I would say this runs on the smaller side if you 're looking for a looser fit. [ I love my Nike Therma fit one top. It ’s sleek and sporty and super comfy. The fabric has tons of stretch for comfort and ease during a workout, but is a good thickness( not as thick as a fleece and not as thin as leggings) and matte and therefore very flattering. I had it on during one of those Fall days where you think “ it ’s probably 65 out ” but it ’s really 50 degrees. And I was plenty warm. I like the length of the top- it sits just below the hip. I am 5 ’ 7 ” and a size 8 in clothes and the medium is perfect with a tank top underneath. I love the soft gray color and subtle swoosh on the side( I usually don ’ t go for big logos!). The collar sits nicely upright with it unzipped. Only thing I noticed that I didn ’ t love is the small neck hole. If you have makeup on and a ponytail( and a big head like I do!) it ’s a snug squeeze and you ’ ll either smudge makeup on the inside of the shirt or you ’ ll mess up your hair if you don ’ t carefully pull it on. Otherwise- it ’s an awesome sleek top.

I got this primarily for motorcycling in colder weather. It works great. I can wear this with my jacket and jacket liner and I do n't have to wear other layers. I 've only used it so far riding in 50 degree weather but it was warm enough I had to turn it down or off. I usually wear a large but wanted it to fit tighter so I got a medium. The medium fits great. I would say the medium fits me perfect where normally I would wear a large t- shirt or long sleeve. Not too tight but not loose. Have n't had long enough to know how long the battery would last but have used it for a couple hours switching between high and medium and still have battery left. Would definitely use while skiing, etc

This is a great product. I purchased one for myself on- line for Christmas, based on the previous smart wool base layer bought in the store in October 2024. The only problem is that the shoplifting tag was still on the product when I opened it on Christmas Day 2025. How Annoying!!!!!! Now I have to return the product. How about some quality control? I bought this to use for hikes in the fall& early winter. It's primary use is as an outerwear shirt or even a replacement for a light jacket. I 've only had it for one trial run, but it has performed admirably. When paired with a good base layer it has kept me comfortable from the low 30's to mid 40's F. My first impression was the wool was very itchy on bare skin. It's a a far cry from a quality merino base layer, but while carrying a light pack and coupled with a good base I never noticed the shirt. Seems like a nice shirt with enough room to make it very versatile.

The first Fjallraven product I ever bought was the Canada shirt in the classic true to Canada red black plaid colour. I am 5 ’ 11 ’ and 215lbs. I bought this shirt in XL. Cons: the shirt is a little long in length for me but I don ’ t know if this shirt was ever made in a long or reg version. The label displays “ XL, comfort fit ” I was between the L and XL so I chose the XL for layering. Pros: Tough wool shirt! Comfortable! Warm! Colours never faded! Shirt never shrunk in the wash! Sleeves are long enough not to ride up. I always worry about snaps failing on garmets but the snaps on my shirt have yet to fail! Well done Fjallraven! I have used this shirt for years now for cutting wood, camping, ice fishing and general wear. I have no regrets on this purchase. I would definitely buy it again and that says a lot since I barely ever wear button up type shirts as I prefer pull over types with zip collars.

Recently purchased this shirt at a local outdoor shop. Probably the best fitting shirt I own. At 5'11, 180lbs, I typically fall right in between medium and large for most brands. Medium tends to be on the verge of too tight and large tends to be baggy. The Ovik twill in medium is a perfect fit. Exactly right across the shoulders, perfect length, and does n't billow around the waist. Quality is top notch.
